    I was banned too.
3 weeks ago I added the co-op ads and yesterday I added the Geovisitors link. Today I'm banned. I have the same number of indexed pages, except one: the main page.

question ... are most of those of you that think coop is part of the issue ... do you runs ads "on" your site? or do you point ads "to your site" ... or both?

Are your sites that are "banned" not indexed? Or just not showing up in the serps? I have a page vanish from the index by doing a site command... and other pages on the same site that are indexed vanished from serps...

It's kind of funny cause it is my cleanest most white hat site I own... My gray hat sites are doing great......

MSNDude at WMW mentioned early this month they started some spam dedection algos in their main algo.

My index page still rank well on msn, but it only show the url on search (title, description and cache are missing) Some of my deeper pages are turning up normal. Am I banned, and if so - why am I still coming up on the search results.

I've been waiting for someone else to say they have had a problem after adding GeoVisitors (see my earlier post). I will be taking it out as soon as possible to see if I regain my high positions.

The site is not actually banned but has completely disappeared in the SERPs for keywords that were in the top 3 before.

Are you getting traffic from msn at all to your index page?
Does the url show up when you search for your index page?

I removed the co-op links and after 48 hours I'm back in top of serps for my keywords. Probably it was a coincidence.

I checked two weeks ago and I was still in the Index but not in the SERPs. Just checked again now and I am gone out of the Index altogether.

Is there anyone who has installed GeoVisitors and is still perfectly ok in MSN?

No no no no no... I am talking about a total ban, you type your url in the search box and get a 'We couldn't find any results containing www.yourdomain.com" message.

But guess what... after having 8 of my sites totally banned, 3 weeks later they are back in and climbing up the serps like crazy! This is just so weird, but I couldn't be happier.

I was thinking of taking the sites down, or redirecting them to somewhere else, I'm really glad I didn't!

Yip the same here. Pages dissapear then come back again.

In my case I'm sure its because my keyword density got over about 4%. I've been making a few changes lately.

Once I lowered density back below about 4% the listing came back

    Regards
    Brian

Fryman, I found one of my sites down to 3 pages in MSN - this carried on for around a week, then BANG, all 1,500+ pages indexed within 24 hours, now kicking arse in MSN, AND all of my pages are now cached to date.

Weird goings-on, but happy I've come back stronger.

That is quite impressive. MSN sometimes never indexes my pages.

one of my sites dissapeared yesterday, was number one, now it's gone.

looks like an all out ban as the search for the complete url yeilds 0 results.

only thing i did to the site was add a paragrpagh to the home page. complete white hat. i don't know what the deal is.

Yeah, that's the perfect example of the type of ban I am talking about... you have been totally kicked out of the network.
Now it will be interesting to see if after some time you get back in as I did. Just hang on and forget about it. I wouldn't recommend doing drastic changes, I didn't change a single letter on my sites and they are back in as if nothing had happened.

    Hi!

I have created a blog site one week ago. MSN started to rank it really well on some keywords. However, the traffic laster for 2-4 days and now it looks like the site is nowhere to be found on SERPS, even though more pages are listed when I type site: command. Does anyone have this happened? Maybe it's temporary, because it's a new blog site? What do you think?

    Thanks
