I can't believe so many are falling for it. Maybe some will read these threads about redzee which is formerly known as winspeed and will save themselves from being let down.
Who is falling here, the ones using their toolbars or the advertizers? the toolbar users are definitely stupid to accept their search results being manipulated. As for the advertizers that's the question asked in this thread is this "hijacking" illegal. BTW they plan to start TV ad compaign http://www.mybkl.com/redzee.htm
I'm also in the process of trying them out - bought a package of 2 keywords in September - so far so good - I'm getting traffic and conversions, and you can't argue with the price - I'll probably buy some more - That's true - I wish I had held onto my Overture keywords at 5 cents per click ..... I used to buy from them in the late 90's at 1 and 2 cents/click - the good old days when Overture was GoTo.. - and I also wish I'd bought some of their stock!
Obviously there is alot of wrong information floating around. I have an account with Redzee.com. You people need to relax. No they are not google or Yahoo. I am receiving guarenteed 10000 visitors to my site for the best keyword available that I was bidding over 5 dollars a click for on Yahoo for 5 cents. I am tracking these visitors and am receiving good traffic and my ROI is up. Bottom line is ROI ISnt it?!?!?!
No body even said anything about them "being" yahoo or google, so Crusher what are you talking about? They use a download to change what people see when visiting google, yahoo, or msn. That is where they send you visitors from. Look for search climbers to get more answers about the techniques they use.
lol they have called me the other day. What's your real name crusher? Redzee is watching this thread real close. Edited: ahh this is what the guy who called me was talking about, to tell me that redzee wasn't called winspeed. I wished he would just come in here and set the record straight. Instead of playing streamlinenet's "pianoplayer" game I really don't think this thread is about that anyways. It is about whether redzee is bringing webmasters results and I would like one credible witness to tell us that they do and show us some proof.
Unless you want visitors annoyed by the "undefined" dialog box when using Firefox, I'd use something else
I wonder what the benefit is of showing thumbnails too? To me that must be a bandwidth killer for both parties.
The benefit is it looks a bit more inviting. Nothing like a picture to get a persons attention. Also, it makes it a bit easier to find dead sites. As far as bw is concerned, assuming you do it right, most sites cache this data, so it is not very bw intensive at all. We are doing this at http://dmoz.kingbloom.com without any issues.
Amazing, ROI is what matters. Let's say T1 SE's are running $5 a click, (without IP designation) and you can get clicks thru a T2 for $.05,(with IP designation) compare the $500.00 to the $5.00. Let's say you convert 2%, compare the ROI of $500 to $995.00. Sure a T1 SE will bring more to the door but you are going to have to tip the doorman. When people ask does it work? They are really asking, Will it make me money. Do the math.
If they had 2 Million Toolbar USA users they would have partnered with Overture already. But why Miva.com? You tell me. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
I bought two keywords with Redzee. I have a dispute with them with my credit card company. Good luck trying to get your money back. No of the traffic goes past the home page. Some days I get over 100 "visitors" from them, sometimes 7. I am well placed on Google, Yahoo, and Ask.com plus I pay for near top lisitngs on their PPC yet I will get 10 to 20 times the keyword traffic from Redzee? One day in May Redzee represented almost half my total referral traffic! I had a budget to take a chance and on upstart companies. Now I stick only with the tried and true, which is too bad because I am a litle guy and root for others like me.
