Any experience with Redzee?

    www.Redzee.com (formerly Winspeed Technologies)

They've approached our company to sell us some PPC packages for their "new" search engine, and I've read conflicting reports on different boards.. Searcing for them on Google brings up a million press releases they put out over the past few weeks, but not much else.

Given that their cheapest package costs $200, I want to do some homework on them before doing anything.. Thanks.

lol, and you are even thinking about it?

Spend your 200 in Adwords, why use some crummy unkonwn service?

I've had such miserable results with AdWords that I toyed with the idea of going with a Tier 2 search engine.. They guarantee you a top 3 ranking in the search engines for users of their toolbar. It's pretty screwed up how they do it, but it works.

Again, they claim 2 million toolbars have been downloaded, but I've never even heard of it until they brought it to my attention, so that stat in itself sounds suspect.

Just doing some information gathering right now, nothing more.. :)

Well, I've never heard of them either, so I don't know where their 2 million toolbar users could be

Start a new thread in the Adowrds forum and post your ad copy and your keywords (use generics like- keyword#1, keyword#2).

Maybe people will be able to offer some advice.

Or post in B/S/T -> Services if you would rather pay someone to fo this for you.

Crazy Rob - I am doing advertising with Google adwords and overture and both work great, but are getting very expensive. If you have any good suggestions about how to better work their system, then please post it up. I can use all the help I can get.

I was called by Winspeed Technologies and decied to give the Top3 program a try.It seems to be doing pretty good for me so far. I have only been doing it for about a month now, but am getting some decent results. I know a month is still a little early, but so far so good. I will keep you posted on the progress.

I do have to mention that Cartman has some incorrect information about them. Redzee is owned by ISE Corp not Winspeed Technologies. Winspeed Technologies is a registration office for Redzee. I called both offices and found out that they have the exact same prices. I think the tier 2 search engines get some good results for the money. Another cool one is Icerocket.com. It seems to draw good traffic as well.
If google and yahoo keep going the way they are, I wont be able to afford them anymore.

Dont forget RedZee is a 2nd Tier engine. The PPC is greatly priced. I get great results and have about 20 keywords. It is alot slower than the same words on ADwords but who cares? At 5 cents a click it has been just fine. I am moving to the 2nd tier market because ADwords is pricing out the advertisers to the point if we do not back these smaller guys trying to come up all we will be left with is out of control ppc costs. Always remember supply and demand, and with RedZee no clicks no cost.

    I'm a little new here.

Most of my time is spent on Abestweb and Sitepoint. The owner has me running the affiliate program so I jump to ABW and then they change their minds and want marketing...Digitalpoint and Sitepoint.

I was approached by them too, we tested it for a kw and it works. not only for google but for msn and yahoo too. It basically gets the results from the SE and then inserts the site in the top. I am skeptic about this manipulation. Is there anything illegal about that? Will this result in a penalization from the SEs?

I just got the call - argghhhh ---
I am sick of getting these calls offering top positions on the big 3 also by hijack methods !!! I hope google/yahoo and MSN are all drawing up lawsuits for these kinds of things.

Let me ask you this, how would you like it if a competitor took over part of your website when someone had a download that allowed them to do so?

Unfortunately these idiots that download "free" software don't read the UA and don't care about stuff like this.

I usually lecture these people when they call me.
