Ok, my first thread got infracted(?!?) because I put an affiliate link in - sorry - that'll teach me to read the forums Ts & Cs, but I have to keep doing this cause otherwise I'll never keep this effort up! I've removed the offending links so here goes again... Ok, folks this time its serious I've spent the best part of a year learning the ropes, making a little (not enough) money and generally faffing around. EPN recently banned my account (but thats another story) so I've decided to get serious about Clickbank and IM. The only way i can keep my self motivated though is to keep a journal so hopefully for the next 30 days or so you can put up with my ranting and check my progress - hey some encouragement wouldnt go amiss either! Anyway, nothing spectacular or radical but I am going to put some twists on it and let you know the results. I'm hoping to set up a blog to details things. Anyhow, here goes.. Day1 I've just signed up for a 30 trial of SE Nuke - I've used it before with some luck but the latest version rocks - and I mean seriously rocks! Since last night I've created 20 plus Web 2.0 accounts and 500 Bookmarking accounts, done some keyword research and posted 2 spun articles for 2 of my keywords. Best of all I've learned how to implement Lemonarians superb Linkwheel method practically on autopilot. My aim is to get another 3 articles done today so I'm off to do that and let you know later how it goes. Keywords Nuked; 2 Sales: 0
Yeah sure ForumPosts Lemonarians Linkwheel method is a way of linking web 2.0 properties to get the maximum 'link juice' to your central money site - the idea is simple but effective but takes a lot of time without automated tools such as SE Nuke - which is automated software to create accounts/spin articles and post them as well as rss promotion, video promotion and bookmarking - basically one touch SEO! search the forums for the linkwheel - its a free download - and check out s*e*nuke.com - remove the *'s (sorry I'm getting paranoid about posting links now) quick update - 2 more keywords nuked - 1 to go then its off for a glass or 5 of wine! Tomorrow starts another campaign on an aged domain i have and some social bookmarking - I'll update then.
Well, quick update, the plan continues to develop. Basically its this so far 1. Pick a Clickbank/PDC product - Im not putting all of my eggs in one basket any more 2. Identify 5 keywords that get reasonable search volume each month and SE nuke says are 'doable' or better 2a. Throw up a quick wordpress or static review sales page - I prefer review sites as I've had most luck with them. 3. Get 1 PLR or web based article for each keyword 4. re-write it manually using SE Nukes spinner syntax 5. Check uniqueness using SE Nuke and format according to my own special recipe! 6. Nuke it to Article directories, Web2.0 properties 7. Wait 1 day 8. Social Bookmark articles and web 2.0 properties for each keyword 9. RSS Nuke for each keyword 10. Over the next few days for each keyword do other backling building/squidoo/forum posting etc but keep it gradual. 11. Move on to the next campaign My aim is to repeat this 1 campaign a day for the next 10 days - and thanks to the power of SE Nuke its working so far. i just couldn't do all of the steps 6-9 in that time frame. Anyway after 10 days (maybe a break - phew!) then its I'll filter out the campaigns that are performing and repeat with another 5 keywords each. This should start bringin some sales - please! Progress so far 1 1/2 campaigns completed Sales: 0 Total Cost so far: $7 - for decptcha service Off for do my last 2 keywords for today. Ta
Hi Rolf, Well its a bit early to say - I was doing some PPC last few weeks but I've stopped that now - ouch mucho expensivo! but over the last 24 hours or so I've seen about 7 hops for my first campaign and 5 for the one I'm working on now. Traffic is up on my first site by about 20% from last months average. I dont really expect to see any growth for about 7 days especially until EZA approves (hopefully) my articles there. Motivation during the first week is usually the hardest i reckon cause you are working blind until you start to see some results come in. Thanks for following
Ok, thats another long day done - finished 5 spun and nuked articles today - doesnt seem like much but I'm writing 3 versions of each article so really thats a solid 15 original ones that i can use over again! Stats nothing worth writing about yet but I'm promoting an off-the-wall impulse product that i have high hopes for. Stay tuned for tomorrows update!
Ok guys quick update for those of you who are following. My last blast from yesterday - done after midnight - has yielded a front page listing on big G within 8 hours for a reasonably competitive keyword and 30 hops to my product. No sales yet but little things like that keep me motivated. Off to do another 5 keywords now.. later
Well, another day another campaign. This ones a bit hit and miss, the gravity of this product is low, but finding keywords to dominate was simple and theres not much competition. I put up another site and bought some domains for my up and coming ones so a good day but not a huge number of articles written. Still no sales but I am waiting for my EZA articles to be approved. I want to keep this up for 7 days straight before looking at changing methods etc. On a plus note, one of my campaigns is starting to generate hops but no sales yet. Off to bed - I'm bushed! 2 1/2 campaigns completed Sales: 0 Total Cost so far: $7 - for decaptcha service + $41 on domains = $48
Why do people insist on making these journals? Are they that interested in respect from a bunch of random losers on a forum? These journals never go into specifics (in terms of products, keywords, etc) which makes sense, because no one wants to give away their secrets. That means we end up with a bunch of semi-complete journals that don't teach anyone anything and are a giant waste of time.
Well its nice to get a bit of encourgement now!! DP used to be a good place for that kind of thing.. unfortunately it seems thats no longer the case. Apart from my own selfish motives - ie keeping a journal keeps me motivated - especially if I think others are tracking my progress, I'm trying to show how tools such as SE Nuke - that not everyone can afford to try out on a whim - perform. You can them make up your own mind about it before you commit to a hefty purchase. Of course no one is going to give out niches or specifics but personally I like these journals as they give me ideas and inspiration. @dlm if you dont want to read it then just move quietly along - unless you are just trying to get you post count up by bitchin about other peoples efforts. For anyone whos interested another big jump in my hops and traffic - 135 hops yesterday but my no sales. I am direct linking (via a re-direct) to one merchants page which gets the most hops with no conversions ao I think its time to put a pre-sell page up and see if my copy is any better!
Ok, no one seems to be reading but I'm keeping on plowing my lonely furrow in any case - its free after all! Well another mighty day. I cant believe I dod this but i took the plunge at EZA and shelled out for a premium membership - all $97 worth - ouch! Still, its proved to be good value so far. I had all 8 of my existing articles approved within 15 minutes, some problem ones resolved and support actually get back to you within an hour! amazing! Ok, it too expensive to warrant long term use but to get a kick start i believe it great value. Dumped another 5 articles in for quick and 3 go rejected - mainly because S Nuke had spun them out to other sites so i just dumped them from here so thats 11 in a day - pretty good by anyones standard. I'm off for the night but a quick update - 15 Keywords targetted sales - 0 - booooo! Cash spent = 7$ + $41 + $97 = $145 - but thats only just more than 1 months SE Nuke sub and a lot less than i was spending on PPC!! Hops - averaging over 100 a day for the past 2 days so i need to look at my sales copy - at least traffic is coming Nighty night!
Don't forget that, when you are writing articles for profits, not backlinks, quality is more important than quantity. So instead of trying to pump out 20 per day, write less, but put more effort into them... My $0.02
Agreed Blackman, but i try to focus on quality as well. I usually submit articles 400-500 words in length and I reckon my grammar and vocab are pretty good. My articles were actually rejected because of 'silly' things like links in the wrong place (not in the first 3 paragraphs apparently) and too many words in my anchor links (max 3 apparently now). Of course , my sales technique may well need improving. BTW - heres a little insight, its your product blackman thats one of the ones I'm promoting, lots of hops, no signups yet - heres hoping tho'
You should concentrate on one website at a time, don't be too greedy about SEO. Use the Thirty Day Challenge lessons if you want real success in your niche.
To be honest i would rather read journals then half the stuff that gets posted around here somedays. Journals are just like blogs but with a guranteed audience. Dont see any harm in them. @drax, im actually about to do EXACTLY the same thing. Only avoiding ezine because they are so slow nowadays. But ive been doing linkwheels for a few weeks now perfecting the technique on some of my general blogs about software etc, but not intending to make money off it. But i actually came here to pick up a clickbank product to run with . Good luck!
This 'journal' sounds more like an advert for SENuke! This thread got infracted !?! because you put your affiliate link in. You've been banned from EPN for lord only knows what. You talk down to long term valuable members here. I suspect it stopped being the case when lowlifes take advantage of the members here, spam them with SENuke affiliate links and then tell them to 'move along' when they don't like it! Beware of member Drax2006 .
Hi Jane Well, I've replied in the other thread which I only discovered - I can understand why you are so bitter -I've made my apologies - maybe you can stop the crusade against me now! As far as the affiliate link - it was never my intention to become rich off this - just spread some karma around - and I also put a link that was non-affiliate to give people the choice - anyhow its done now and I've learned another lesson! As far as EPN - well for those who want to know it was for Trademark Violation - apparently you are meant to be creative enough to come up with a website for xbox products that doesnt contain the word xbox360!!! Thats me out then It was nothing more than that - so one piece of advice to everyone with an EPN account - check you domains - they are coming after you. I had spent a lot of money building my EPN sites, PPC and development time and I lost over £2000 of hard earned cash. No warning, just a wham bam thank you we'll keep that attitude - now thats the real crime as far as I'm concerned! Beware. Anyhow - my conscience is now clear - time to get on with my business. Finally if you want to call me lowlife at least find out more about me than my name before you do that. Thanks
