    Hello all,
As promised Web Directory Reviews just published its review about Alive Directory.

"noticed that alive uses “family friendly directory” in its Meta description tag, browsing the directory I was however able to find links to Lingerie and other adult sites."

"I was surprised not to find alive directories direct link for terms like “alive directory” , “alive web directory” , or “alivedirectory”.

    Hey..

As i had the problem of getting down in SERPS couple days back here, now as i recall i think alivedirectory.com was in top 5 for the keyword "Web directory" in google, now it's somwhere near 68 till i saw - Check

And also, for its own domain keyword alive directory - It isnt there in the top 100 too.
One more is alive web directory, "strong web directory" where i was 1 and alive was 2.

What might be the problem there?
As people suggested me that i was targetting same keyword everywhere and big guys like alive, aviva, dump etc. don't do that.
Then how did this happen and how alive got down in SERPs?

I hope its a temporary serps change for alive.
getting back to read your whole review now :)

We cannot really understand this sudden change going on multiple web directories
Not only alive, noble we have many more directories which are facing these changes.

There is another directory that is pretty popular on DP that is in the same boat right now. I would not be surprised if it they both rebound in the next couple of weeks.

Unbelievable, yet I see the results!

I understand Google is making some changes/adjustments, but are these changes for the best interests of the Directory industry/community, and more importantly, the G surfers?

If an Authority directory doesn't make the first page, why is G sending people elsewhere? I thought they wanted their customers to find the best? (of course, nothing against anyone else on the first page, but the same could happen to them)

Maybe I am just jumping to conclusions, but this should really wake everyone up.
