Adsense making me bang my head against the wall today

My CTR droped also yesterday, about half the usual. Also Sunday was a lousy day, but Sunday always is.

 

On Wensday my Page Impresions were 20% above the usual but my earnings were 10x smaller than avarge. :-(

 

Ok, so Wednesday was a bad day. But Thursday was above average. I wonder if some clicks were assigned to my account a day late? Averaging out the two days, I got about the normal amount.

 

Thursday was back to normal, but nothing exceptional here.

 

I got 26 cents yesterday. 1905 impressions, 1 click.

 

If you know for a fact that none of your web sites ever go down or you have a way of monitoring all your sites, I would not recommend not checking Adsense every few hours if you have significant income. I have found one of my sites was down just by looking at my Adsense revenue and seeing that it was off. Also, you will find the effects changes like smart pricing sooner if you are checking.

Adsense revenue is a vital sign for many web sites and should be monitored with a right understanding of normal fluctuations.

 

Very strange that we all experienced a bad wed and a good/normal thursday. It must be the big adwords advertisers dictating this.

I cant really put my finger on why many of us experienced the same thing.

 

Out of the many members on dp only a small subset posted here. I dont think we were many enough for it to actually count. As some posted it was most likely a normal fluctuation.

 

i had a bad day today too...but that may be just as it is a normal bad day, not especially wednesday

 

Is probably EOM most advertisers are out of budget

Adsense went up for me a litle today. CTR is around 1.80%, but they are paying better.

 

I actually started to have a good day on Thursday but then my server went down. Finally got that fixed late this evening but made $5 so far today which is good for only like 6 hours so far.

 

one of the sites I work on averages around 10 - 12 $ per day, but last week, it earned $ 22 in a day with the same traffic and users! Don't know how that happened, but I sure hope it happens again
