Hey. True story ! Read this, maybe you will learn on my mistakes or maybe you will help me ! Finally i deal with my latest adsense situation. I think i've learned (again) new thing about google adsense. Well, ok. This month August. I got great earnings, with easy every day the same (comparable). It was great till last friday. Well anyway i go about 3x time less and i don't know what to do to go back. Anyway , i put at friday ads on my 2 blogs page, the ads Large Rectangle (336 x 280) after every second post and on down part of the page , in neighbourhood of bottom pages navigation. So this was on friday, next i go out to holidays. Back in Sunday. I see the ads go low, so i think , WTF. I put this ads (they was no good at all) off and wait, but the ads earnings was low, not like the rest of month. Today i thought about next reason why my earns go lower. I change on one of my site the keywords and descriptions for google and search engines. Really i think this was all the changed i made. So anyway: WHEN YOU HAVE GOOD EARNS DON'T CHANGE (LIKE I DO) ANYTHING, EVEN IF YOU THINK THIS IS LOGICAL AND YOU THINK IT WILL HELP YOU TO GET MORE , JUST EARN AND WHEN YOUR EARNING GOES LOW, THEN CHANGE ! Back to my reports , i got the same clicks number, page impressions is the same, CTR also and eCPM a bit lower. Anyway this two reasons i write maybe not the true. Maybe google change the algoritm, maybe something diffrent, i don't know what. really don't know This situation is said for me, but not first time with google got this earning fall from out of nowhere. But this time i got really good days in this months and now it is so dramatically low. Anyway thanks for reading and thanks for all good comments from you.
it's all trial and error. There are tons of variables that go into ad placement. Just experiment and see waht works for you.
Yee but i use adsense for long time. I got my good ads position on my websites so i know what is what.
Lots of things change, you forget that some days you get awesome targeting ads but the next day though advertisers could have pulled the ads & you're left with less targeted ones. Lots of factors in play, but if something is working don't change it
Yee, but i always want it to be better, put some really logic (maybe not to google) tweaks and crash Sad that it works for 21 days very good, till friday...
Thanks for your opinions. I read and test so much ads placement. I got some thoughts about it and i have learned some stuff but still sometimes google is so unlogic to me, doesn't have sense.
could be smartpricing, if you put ads close to navigation buttons -> people clic the ads by mistake cause they're close to the navs buttons -> they don't stay long on the advertiser's site -> google detects this (people not interested on the ads they clic on, must mean they got tricked into cliking, could be by putting ads close by navs buttons...) -> google smartprice you to avoid advertiser being ripped off by paying for visitors who don't care. to get out of smartpricing, you need some time, like a couple of weeks, providing that visitors who clic are not tricked any more.
