Adsence earning down in January

I run a network of 8 sites but my adsence earnings, CTR, CPM etc etc are down by 30% in January.
Anyone else here experiencing this? Is it usual/seasonal or smart pricing?

 

Well, I'm not experiencing that at all. Is your product seasonal? I mean, do advertisers have reason to advertise more around Christmas?

 

from what I understand, this is normal. For me (and many others it seems) CTR and overall revenue is higher than normal in december but always drop a bit in january. Post Christmas blues, i guess.

 

I am now getting about half of what I got per click in December...no worries though.

 

I've been noticing the same. My traffic is going up but earnings going down. I guess one reason would be the amount of new people joining adsense everyday.

 

My EPC last year was a hill with a peak around summer. I just try to diversify my content to smooth things over.

I have noticed that adsense is always up and down from day to day. But at the end it is always consistent.

 

I remember that I have seen similar thread yesterday and commented that I don't see any decline.

BTW, is your traffic stable or decreased as well?

 

Could be seasonality that's affecting it. I've actually noticed a slight increase, but not much.

 

For me CPM is about the same. Traffic is far more stable though.

 

Same here. High traffic and much lower earings. Hope that they are going through something that will end soon.

 

For me on days 1 to 4, eCPM decreased to half while mantaining CTR.
But from January/5 my eCPM returns as usual 'till now.
I'm having +10,000 visitors daily and my site is not seasonal.
