Hi there, it's my first post here and I wanted to share with you a way of making your ads more attractive. Here's an example: -http://www.raikkonen-f1.com/ Pictures are used to attract the attention of visitors. This is not an incentive, it has been accepted by Google after an exchange of emails. However, I recommend you ask google too before you implement this as this should be sorted out on a case by case basis (send a sceenshot to google prior to making it live, and make it live only if/when you have the greenlight) I won't give any CTR figures, I'll let you figure...
are you being sarcastic? I did not see any thread about this on the forum so I just thought I'd post a message...
Highly recommended that everyone use pics. I'm doing it and getting 20s in the clickthroughs. It's awesome. I think people just associate the ad with the picture and think its somehow related so they click. Dunno if thats the real reason, but thats what it seems like to me.
Yeah, it was pretty much invented here. Hence the irony you tell us Critters is the godfather of this concept.
Welcome to DP effisk. The concept took hold (it wasn't widely used before) when a member here named Critters posted about it last year. You can read the thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=17104
So what will be the method to add pic with add, its great idea but it will also take some time to load page. We can also use chitika they are using product pics with adds.
there should be. but if the gap between the pics and the ads are far enough, G doesn't really care. the ones that they frown upon are the ones where the pics are so close to the ads they look like part of the ads.
Well, that pretty well sums it up...and even leaves the final judgment call to G's discretion. Got that, everyone? LINES BETWEEN THE IMAGE AND AD IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED COMPLIANT.
