Hello, (This thread is in relation to this other thread of mine. Here, I'm going for simplicity.) Please, would you know if there exists a script to allow file downloads, from an URL made public, only for paying members ? The script would be, simply, managing customer memberships and taking in credit card payments in relation to memberships. The idea would be that there would be download links on a wordpress blog, but they wouldn't work unless a premium membership is paid. . This doesn't NEED to be integrated into wordpress : if there's a WP plugin for it, super-cool, but if there is no such plugin and a third-party script does it without WP integration, then it's equally fine. After all, it's just about protecting downloads of a few filetypes or downloads from one location... Would you know of a script/plugin for this ? Thank you VERY MUCH if you can tell me
I think you can do it with Ipanel.. (hostdev.com).. Never tried downloads only, but it should work i guess.

You need amember.com subscription script and all work is done only setup script and members will have access for payed files
Check out DigitalAccessPass.com (DAP). It works with both WordPress as well as stand-alone HTML/PHP sites. You can hook up your existing HTML web site with DAP and it will immediately start protecting regular files on your site, and even if someone gave the direct download link to someone else, they would have to log in first before they can access the file. - Ravi Jayagopal Founder & Co-Developer, DAP
