I'll be honest here and say I've spent more money advertising so far than I've made. But I'm using left over cash in my AdWords account, I simply signed up with CB to see if I could make any sales. After my minor success, I may consider taking it more seriously and promoting more products etc. There's a lot of good tips here and I will take them on board. Thanks for your replies everyone.
How much are you bidding or paying per click? What % are converting? You may have to lower the PPC to make it profitable. Ive seen some pay as much as $2 a click, dont see how they can profit off that
It truly is all relative Say a product brings me 200$ in commission (not unheard of) and converts at 1:3 to the merchant page and 1:30 from the merchant page. I'd gladly spend $2 or more a click On the other hand, promoting a product that only gives you 5$/commission doesn't give you a whole lot to work with... unless you're running ads that convert at 0.05 CPC -T
Bio, you should take some time to read this thread. It has some really good information regarding arbitrage
Congrats on making some money with clickbank. @nikolas Thanks for the link I'm going to check it out right now. Cheers, Josh
I think it may have already been said but landing pages always win out over direct links. Your cost per click will usually be alot less plus you're providing your customer with some value e.g. review/comparison or something like that. Landing pages generally convert much better for me than direct linking
I have a landing page in my sig, gotta organise it first and get some link exchanges going on because people will be glad to do this if they know im sending paid traffic to my landing page
