BlogSpot domains flushed out of Google Search?

Discussion in 'Google' started by godmode, May 23, 2008.

I noticed that almost all blogspot domain blogs are suddenly flushed out of Search irrespective of Quality.

I am totally amazed to see my PR 6 high quality (linked by CNBC/CNet/Washington Post/Gigaom and what not) is suddenly out for all keywords across the board. From no.1 to nowhere.

anyone else facing this issue? I think its a glitch. I hope it is.

This was bound to happen because of all the networks" being created and the sitehoppin' and Entrecard stuff going on. Just visit my blog and apply to the "do-follow" list and become visible again.

Totally unrealistic. Seems like some issue at blogspot end which is causing the problem. Anyone noticed that blogspot domain robot.txt isnt downloaded by google since last 1-2 days. is this the problem?

Hey man, if you didn't highlight it here, I wouldn't have noticed at all. It's True!
One of my blog which used to listed in the first page for a certain keyword doesn't appear anywhere right now :(
    I hope it's a glitch...

I'm a single user with 300 blogs stuffed full of obvious PLR rewritten articles...That's the new adsense moneymaker these days?

It's not effecting everyone, for instance i still got you with sitelinks for "VOIP Guides" and various other Blogspot sites coming of for a lot of different terms.

I hope they don't change the rules and it's just temporary. I can't find a reason why they want to sideline their own blogspot.

WOW, I hadn't noticed the drop until I read this post. I was too busy obsessing about one of my website's apparent disappearance from the search results that I hadn't noticed that the blogs were suffering too. It's a good thing that I had switched my most important blog from blogspot to a paying domain.

Man, it sure stinks when Google decides to pull the rug from under folks!

    lol.

I think its because our blogger blog has continuously ranked #2 for Microsoft's free websites heckling them severely, with pages of Microsoft hits below for the past 5 months. ..Gatesy had to resort to bribing Google to get us removed.

    I feel quite honoured. :)

Google just removed most .info and .co.uk from front results - its true.

Is this a glitch or new algo?
