This has to be a glitch. There are a bunch of legit .info, .co.uk, and blogspot websites out there. If Google decided to remove all of them from the index, then what kind of domain is allowed? Only .com?!

You are not alone; Recently one of my site was dropped to the last page.

Its not a blogspot subdomain but the drop for my site is same like your blog.

I am sure many of us have some good quality .info, blogspot sites, or .co.uk sites.

For Google to just wipe them out is really unfair! I think this will also jeopardize these entire extensions, they will all become almost worthless overnight.

Imagine you worked hard on your .info site for many months or years only to see it gone just like that!

I'm still surprised not more people are speaking out, because the problem seems to have happened like 15 hours ago, and is very widespread!

You are absolutely right...we tend to go to .info domains because...people have already registered good keyword .com,.net domains....so this is not at all correct....I hope they bring back the ranking...

    Hi All,

I m in the same boat.

I have a very high quality PR4 .info website. Since Yesterday night no keyword is working in Google.

My Traffic and earning has dropped to 90% and it made be very upset.

Hopefully, its due to the algo update and not the permanent.

There is no logic to ban the TLD without any reason.

Any more update please on this issue?

    Regards
    bushib

my pr4 site has had no google searches since yesterday. i betting this is just an unintended result of an algo tweak. Google would lose way too much money in ad revenue if they killed the rankings on some many sites that carry their own ads.

Glad the sites are coming back, thats too weird about the .info and .co.uk

I was going to say the blogspot decreased SERPS could have been a correction to compensate for the way google seems to usually give blogspot blogs an extra push.

Damn. You're right. My best gadget blog has dropped visitors. From 600 uniques everyday down to only 200 uniques yesterday?!! WTF? However, it seems to be working fine again, after only 8 hours being refreshed, I'm close to reaching the unique visits I had yesterday.
