Some Tips to Sell Domain and Fight Against Scammer

HI,
last two days ..i have faced two scammer but survived. Domain selling is a risky trade if you face scammer you will lose all , your domain also with money.for this reason we should fight against scammer in ths domain selling forum.
i have developed some idea for fighting againnt scammer.
if you have any good idea pls post here. so thet we can share our idea.

Try to assume an scammer before trade by analysis his attitude

Some Common attitude on an scammer:

1.They always try to deal quick trade.
2.If you set too high BIN for a domain they try to buy at BIN. Because they have deal quickly. They got banned with in 48 hours. Because seller send report to the MOD.
3.See when they joined in the forum.
4.We should also check their iTrader quality using some criteria.
a. are they have any iTrader/negative iTrader?

b. If they have positive iTrader (2/3+)see when got those iTrader points. If they got all of their iTrader with in 24 hours that means they are not safe buyer.
c. See Who gave them iTrader. ITrader from new user will increase your trade.
d. An scammer try to complete so many deal with in same day with many seller.
e. To make trade with new user is very risky.
f. Real buyer are real bargainer. They will bargain before trade. This is a good sign.

Domain Selling Tips:
Domain selling is more risky business than other digital products.so you can follow some tips:

1.Don’t push domain immediately. I have survived two times by using this trick. I always take time from my buyer to push domain. You can take 3/6 hours to push. You should inform this to your buyer as a condition before payment.

2.Don’t sell all of your quality domains to single person at the same day. You can sell one domain per day to a person who want all of your quality domains .This will reduce your risk.

3.If any one want to buy all of your quality domains you can give some conditions. example: you can tell him to pay for one domain per day.

4. You can alternative payments as moneybookers.

5.To gain trust from reliable buyer you can post the screen shots of your domain selling thread to the domain page.If you want you can install wordpress and make a post with your thread screen shot. it takes only 5 minute. so your buyer will fell the trade low risk so that a good buyer will give you enough time to push the domain

Every business have risk. You can't do any business without risk.but you can reduce your risk.

Great Tips loverctgu, After I Totally Scammed and lost Some Quality Domains and Money too ($305) I will use your tips for next trade on domain. And Now I considering to use Another Payment Processor beside paypal, Is there any good alternative beside Paypal and moneyBookers?

Nice tips but... imo it's best not to tell the buyer your going to take an extra couple of hours to push, otherwise they will know won't they but a good idea is to actually check your paypal account also to make sure its not been paid from a stolen account, rather than waiting for the payment email.

 

Good tips for domaining, though I've sold over 50 domains in past 2 years and did not faced any issue yet. I don't deal with everybody

yes its safer than paypal..but paypal used by more buyer..

 

Hmm Just a newbie question. Can't we retrieve our domain back in case of fraud. For example Godaddy send you a mail with delay of 15 days to contact them that the push was genuine or mistake. To make more clearer can't we contact Godaddy and get the domain back. ??

 

no godaddy didnot send you that.
