Goto squidoo.com and learn from there. As well the first step to market website through squidoo is by creating lens which you can get when you start for sign up.
You make a Squidoo lens (essentially a web-page) on any topic. Within the lens you can link to your own site or affiliate program to earn comissions You can then benefit from traffic to your site or affiliate program from people browsing Squidoo and also direct traffic from Google to your lens as Squidoo tends to rank quite well (especially if you target the keywords right and make a good title).
right now I dont find much lense coming in google rankings at the top. May be because of excessive usage of lense and spamming search engine?
I find Hubpages is more powerful in getting high search engine rankings because of their tight control. Squidoo is good because you basically can put everything up there without tight controls. Thus, it is not weird that if Google is taking things seriously with Squidoo.
I don't see what all the hype about squidoo is, its just good for back links, not traffic. I am going to try hubpages.
If you want a good squidoo lens that will rank top of the search engines (for an uncompetetive keyword) and to get featured on squidoo then you'll have to put A LOT of time and effort into the lens. I have a couple of lenses that I updated daily for about 10 days. Then I realised that squidoo is only really worth while for generated backlinks and not for getting hits from google.
At WA private Forum are many Squido How-to tutorials. There are plenty of honest experts you may PM for one-to-one support. Sing-up under me and I will help you.
Don't try HubPages if all you want is traffic. If you want to publish articles and get traffic TO HubPages, you can make it work. If you want to use HubPages to get traffic THRU your hubs, then it won't.
this thread is really giving me real confusions about squidoo... anyone here can break all the wrong thoughts and give the real score about squidoo?
Squidoo can be used in many different ways. Here's my thoughts on how it can be used: www.squidoo.com/why and www.squidoo.com/what
