For the past +/- 7 hours the Google Toolbar is no longer showing if a site is listed in Dmoz. (the little green book icon).

Google toolbar demo image is no longer showing the Page Rank. e.g. http://toolbar.google.com

It still shows as a toolbar feature. It looks like its taking the back seat now.

Also, does everyone else notice if you go to options on the toolbar and click on (more...) for the Page Rank it opens a new window to Toolbar Help explaining PR while all other features open a pop-up window with further explaination. I never noticed if it always was like this or if this is a recent change. Basically, the PR feature is singled-out and opens in a new browser window while all others open in a pop-up window...its like PR is the toolbar stepchild. The PR explaination (in the new window) tells about PR technology which haven't disappeared just the displaying of the PR technology results have disappeared. I'm certain Google still uses the same terms and algo behind the scenes

As I said in response to this observation in another forum, I don't believe that the image on that page has been showing the PR bar since version 2.

View the page at 800 x 600 and you'll note that the image fills screen width as is. Since the PR bar is an old feature, I think all it means is that Google is highlighting the new features in its "advertisement".

Sounds like a symptom of toolbar PR withdrawl. Just wait 'til the puking and involuntary muscle spasms start...

I don't think that necessarily implies he thinks it is a real name, though. People also refer to threads by RustyBrick and DigitalPoint, etc.

True, but those are obvious handles. The author should have given it a mention, at least. I wonder if he realized it himself...

I guess I just figured that any one with English as a first language at least would spot the pun so it didn't need comment... perhaps I'm wrong...

The end of the world is nighhhhh lol

Something I've just thought about, how am I going to measure if a website has been banned by Google when looking for link exchanges? Okay, so I could check Google, but I've always used the toolbar to quicken that process up.
