Except for the relatively small number of backlinks with keyword anchor text, links don't have a specific keyword associated with them.

Some analysizers like opensiteexplorer.org report the anchor text in a column, (the free access version teaser shows the anchor text for digitalpoint as: "Webmaster Forum - Internet Marketing & S...") You can put that column from the full paid results into some editor and count the keyword occurances to get a a tally of the keyword specific links.

IBP (Google it) will give you backlinks associated with specific keywords - but, it is on the expensive side.

Yahoo Site Explorer will give you the total number of backlinks for a competitor's total website or individual URL - but, it does not match these to anchor text.

As per my experience, Number of links does not matter, You have to increase quality back links. There are lots more factors which you should concentrate but you can start with this.

There's a ton of software out there that can do this for you. I personally use Traffic Travis and analyze the top 10 for a keyword.

    Hi,

It is depends on you what type of back links you are accepting. I means if you are taking links only at relevant theme, relevant language, relevant hosting and at unique IP's site then after taking few back link your keyword will be in the top of first page.

    For example
The first projects I worked for link building in are idealcasinogokken.com(Dutch), onlinecasinojugar.com (Spanish) and onlinepokerjugar.com(Spanish). And these are my first work in SEO field.

Ideal casino gokken found in Google.nl in the top of first page within 1 and half month after adding just 10 links
online casino jugar found in Google.es in the top of first page within 2 month after adding just 13 links
onlinepokerjugar.com found in Google.es in the top of first page within 2 month after adding just 14 links

The parameters we used are unique IP. content of the site is 100% relevant and good, relevant language site having 100+ back links, home page link and having it PR.

Just follow these parameters then you would not need of 50 or 100 or more links for your keywords,

    Best of luck..
