    Just for a matter of intrest what is a PR,PR1,PR2 and so on?
    Whats it mean , what do you gain from it?

    Maybe a stupid qestion but have nevr come across what thay mean

    PR refers to Pagrank. Its google technology to rate any Webpage.

    Explanation of pagerank can be found on this page - http://www.google.com/technology/

    It is a rating on the scale of 10, where 0 being worst and 10 being the best.
    hence PR1 page is a page with pagerank of 1.

    PR = Pagerank, it is a number 0-10 assigned by Google. Google uses it to help somewhat rank sites. People are starting to more and more disregard it's meaning. You don't gain anything directly from PR. It is more of an effect of getting a lot of backlinks from higher PR sites.

    It's like da Olympics. 10 is da best. 2 is well....the n00bies club!!! Try to get atleast a five!!! Five is easy to get with back-links.

    The browsers have PageRank 'hacks' aka, for example extensions on Firefox.

    No-One can predict your pagerank.

    The correct name for that tool is...Crap Rank Prediction. The tools are CRUMMY at predicting what it'll be.

    I'm still waiting for my PR 8!!!! Da site that got that prediction...is a PR 2!!!!!

    Yes i have to admite the pagerank programmes dont work very good i get PR1 - PR4 on about 7 diffrent ones lol

    I think i under standing it a bit more now the more hits , better content you have on your site more traffic you will get , more link backs and adding your site to submission dir's
    So basicaly its like the more adverting you do and links backs to your site the more it pays of and the higher the PR the more traffic you will get.

    Am i correct in a way ?
