Agreed +rep.... TLD's aren't the factor, it's based on the quality of the content itself, and as misconception will have it, it tends to be *.gov and *.edu "web pages" (not sites) have high quality information that is heavily linked to.
Good point, but he does offer one of many ways in which to find regular links, which is fair enough in itself.
