    i have 40 points as a reputations in my account..

    i want to know what is the benefit of DP reputations...

    It lets people comment-on/thank/etc you without making a post to clutter up the forum, and it lets them do it anonymously if they wish.

    The green bar might be about as useless as a Google PR bar, but the system itself is priceless.
