Hi, I've spent hours looking for sites that I like but some of the niches are too "out there" and some people still thinktheir .info and .net d names are "really good SEO"...

So, here's what I'm looking for:

Sites that have made some money, even if it's only $5.00/day/week/month.

The best site I could hope to buy is one that just needs some SEO love and proper on-page and off-page SEO done to it.

To me the hard part for new sites is figuring out which monetization method works, so if you have made even a DIME on your site, then you've already saved me that time, and I want to buy the site from you.

I dig the automated sites, too as long as they're WP blogs.

I like sites that have some sort of exiting Adsense income since they'll benefit form my "SEO-ing them"...

It's late and I'm tired of reading threads about valuable .info domains and what-not (get .orgs from namecheap .org names are better for SEO)

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

Hi folks, Early Merry Christmas to you all.

Still looking for sites that have monetization proof and possibilites. What I'm most interested in is blogs with Adsense earnings of some kind, and would benefits from higher SERPS. The high ranking SERPS I can make happen but it really does help if the domain name is Kw-rich and has some sort of chance of getting traffic based on the domain name and site optimization for KWs.

    KW-rich domain name
    any type of Adsense earnings
PR doesn't matter, traffic potential does

    Thanks,

    Dan

I'm curious as to what you have against .info domains, especially seeing as how we are heading to a point on the internet, as mentioned by Google, where extensions will eventually not even be relevent at all, as searches will be indexed by just the site name itself.

I have a .info domain which is actually my best adsense earner. Proper SEO can be done on ANY site, irregardless of it's extension, if you know what you're doing.

The one real advantage that dot com's will always have over other TLD's is type in traffic, the majority of type in traffic is going to go to dot com's.

True, but that has nothing to do with "search engine" optimization, which is what the OP seems concerned about. I can easily make just as much money with an info as with a .com and I have done so.

Secondly, as I stated before, the internet is evolving to the point where many companies, including Google have stated that you will be able to simply put a site name in your browser without the need for an extension at all, to eventually make all extensions equal in importance. It will be the site content itself that makes the difference and NOT the extension it's on.

I am going to list the following websites as a group for sale.
    theweekendchef.com
    thedietingweekendchef.com
    thevegetarianweekendchef.com
    thediabeticweekendchef.com

These are all WP based sites. The main site (theweekendchef.com) uses amember to manage the members, another package is used to manage links, and the databases are MySQL. This is the Internets largest recipe website (as far as I know) with over 350,000 food and 11,000 drink recipes. It also has a library of over 100 pdf cookbooks. I have many more yet to upload and some of them have been reformated and branded for The Weekend Chef sites to help drive traffic.

I use product sales from CD sales, Amazon Stores, Google Adwords, PPP radio ads, and newsletter advertising (havent implemented this as I havent had time to start the newsletters lately). I have written many articles and used them to drive traffic to the site. These sites used to be PR3/4 but have dropped as I don't have the time to promote as they should be.

I have licenses for all the software. Hosting costs for the 4 sites is $95.00 per year which is the only on going expenses atm.

Sales have been slow as I do not know how to SEO. Sold about 10 Recipes CDs. Google has been about $5 a month and I do not know what PPP is generating atm (new service). Membership is free.

Let me know if you are interested.

.info domains just scream shady. that's it. also, the fact that your top adsense earner is .info is bec (i assume) you're getting all your traffic from google - & agree with you they can be SEO'd & monetized just fine. but for anyone who wants to graduate to that level of having actual type-in visitors a .com or .net is preferred.

& as for the extensions not making a diff, I think we have a ways to go till that happens.

About the info tlds. They are usually the last choice when it comes to getting a domain name, but if you're lucky you can do well with a .net or a .info. Like Google I generally think of .info sites as being "less than" normal sites, so I just have a bias against them, even tohug hI have some of them myself.

If I had a choice I'd go with a .org over a .info or .net any day. Then again, problogger.net does pretty well for traffic, too. It's just my preference, i don't like .info for domain names

Would you be interested in buying healthdiet.us ? It is a great great domain, and a great niche. All you need to do for it is seo, although you'll continue with the blog style or put a landing page there where you'll make huge money through affiliate programs.
