    That's what I said. I even checked the rules before I made the post and there wasn't anything that said it was wrong... so I'm assuming there's nothing wrong as long as its relevant

    I would say the following applies:

    This kinda does both. Your initial thread was more than suffice. I believe you CAN link to other threads, but this is generally done when someone else starts a thread that you may find could benefit from re-direction to a related thread that may answer that OP's question.
