Hello, I've been around these forums for awhile, and every single day I see people losing scripts, databases, critical data, or just flat out personal files. So I'd like to offer a personal, professional, secure data backup service that won't break the bank. What we're currently offering is data back-up services. We do it in 2 different categories- self serve, and full service. But right now, let's get to some of the perks to backing up with us: We're cheap None of this $2/gig or $100 per month crap. All custom quoted to fit your needs because no two websites are the same. Personal You've got one person to talk to, not a company full of people who couldn't care less about your valuable data. Custom As I said before, it's your data, you choose how to back it up. We can back you up 3 times per day, or once a month. You can send us the files, or we can go into your hosting and get them ourselves. It's up to you. Secure Perhaps the most important of it all. My server could crash and burn, and my house could burn to the ground- and you'd still have your files. We keep your files 100% secure on our server, and we keep a physical copy on a hard drive stored away in a fire-proof safe. Your data is secure with us, no doubt about it. You can only get your files through me. There's no website to be hacked, or anyway to tell where my server is. We know how it is to own something that you've put your heart and soul into, and how heartbreaking it would be to lose it. Now that you know a little about us, you're probably wondering how I'm going to operate this whole system. First off, there's no web portal. This is a security issue (password cracking, hacking, etc.), so I just cut this part out. This means that your backups won't be available the second you need them, but they will be available within 24 hours (99% of the time sooner though). You will receive an email address where you can email me to get the back up. This email address is forwarded directly to my cell phone which means that I will get the email and send you your back up ASAP. We can send you your back up in 3 different ways. 1.Through a digital link that has a 24 hour expiration on it 2.Email it to you 3.Physically send you the hard drive that your site/data is backed up on You can only get your files through contacting me. This way I can ask for a few forms of identification (for example, IM me on MSN, email me, and PM me on DP), and I can keep track of who is downloading what. Just think, if someone stole your password to your data back up service's website, your data could be gone and stolen. That would not be good. We price things in a pretty unique way. Every quote is custom, so you'll need to PM me to get an accurate quote. It all depends on how many backups, full service or self serve etc. We can handle sites as little as 1 MB in size, or up to 2 TB in size. If your site is really large (500 Gigs or more) we may ask you to pay a one time start up fee just because of bandwidth and the cost of the actual hard drive. We can cover the small hard drives, but spending $400 on a hard drive and then having you cancel your service 2 days later is not good for business.
