I have 2 competitors, however I have registered all the extensions for my keyword rich url, the thing is, I have checked my competitors and they haven't, they have only registered their country of residence, ie, UK. My question is, would I be entittled to register the keyword rich urls with different extensions and redirect them to my site? Or will this only cause legal problems?
Check out my answer to a similar question here. The short answer is, it depends. That is, it depends on a number of factors. Also, the law is somewhat ambiguous in this area.
And that's really the most realistic answer, mainly dependent on the parties in question possibly having trademark rights to those terms and if they'll make a fuss over what you're intending to do.
I might disagree a little bit on this one. If you are talking about a keyword domain (like LCDtelevisions.com), you might be fairly safe in registering the different extensions for the domain (LCDtelevisions.net). But they're both right in the end that it does depend.
Not if they own any trademarks with that name. Why would you want to take their names anyways. Unless you're trying to do some cybersquatting which is illegal.
