Flash Websites are no more hidden from Google and Yahoo. http://sunil-gupta.blogspot.com/2008/07/flash-files-become-searchable.html
Yes, you are right google can search flash files. but you have to do some techniques to optimize it properly.
No technique, It's because of new announcement made by Adobe to work with Google and Yahoo to bring search results from swf file.
I Have already posted on the other post here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=912143 and here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=912346 That's really old old news, back on 2006 Google started to index Flash based sites with the SWF filetype... But suddenly Adobe released a new edition of SDK for the search engines and Google just started by implement the new features... how ever since Macromedia Flash in Version 7.0 there was the option for both the designers and developers of Flash to add, edit and delete the Document information like: Title and Descriptions !!! and not spamming but there is a lot of threads about the same subject, so maybe site admins might remove them because of my posts but i hope they wont ban me
This is such an old news.. Well, thanks for sharing it anyway, this will help especially for the newbies..
For your information, this post was posted before your post, so you should not start a new thread if it's the same discussion.
That's interesting. Even though it is old news, it is new to me. I think a moderate amount of flash can be good for a website because it is appealing, but I was always afraid to use it because it wasn't seo friendly.
