I'm selling both of these sites:
- www.linkmywww.com - Expires: 28th Feb 09
- www.linkmyproxy.com - Expires: 1st March 09

Both valid PR2

Both with Name.com and will transferred upon receiving payment.

Small amount of traffic to both - all genuine. Both sites only make a couple of dollars each month.

Domain, templates, etc all included - what you see is what you get.

No promotion of either site has ever been done other a couple of links in forum signatures. With a bit of marketing and promotion, these could bring small $$ in for you.

I don't have the time to maintain these sites anymore so they have to go.

Through our PM conversations, I was told that www.linkmywww.com has phpld version 3.3 paid license. I looked at linkmyproxy.com and noticed that it has phpld version 3.3 on it as well. However after I sent you payment you did not release the license of www.linkmyproxy.com phpld version 3.3 paid license to me. You mention in your last PM "YOU GOT EXACTLY WHAT I SAID YOU WOULD GET!!". I would like to clarify that you did not say I would not get the license for linkmyproxy.com and thus it was regarded as 2 licenses as part of the sale as in the OP, you mentioned "Domain, templates, etc all included - what you see is what you get.

I saw phpld versin 3.3 slapped on both sites linkmywww.com and linkmyproxy.com before I sent payment. Thus I hold the rights to BOTH the licenses and not just 1. What upsets me was that you actually told me via PM this "I still have one license which I kept because I never agreed to sell it to you nor was it ever mentioned for that matter."

You left me with no choice but to post this problem here in this thread because you said this "* added to ignore list now for continually wasting my time and being a complete idiot *" Because of that I am unable to communicate and resolve the matter graciously with you via PM and thus this has to be posted on this thread to settle this. With that said, I take into offense of you calling me a complete idiot.

In conclusion, both phpld version 3.3 licenses belongs to me now as I have paid for them in this sale and I ask that you transfer the remaining 1 license to me. I hope for your full cooperation in this matter.

It's actually quite funny...

He left out the part that this entire deal started by him sending me a PM asking what other websites I had for sale after he backed out of buying another website I had for sale (itresource.com.au - some of you might have seen it). He offered me $100 for itresource.com.au after saying that my original $150 was was to much. Reluctantly, I accepted his $100 offer and then he turns around and says he will think about it - he never ended up buying this. A little disapointing!

The next PM I get from him is asking what other websites I have for sale. I told him, including linkmyproxy.com and linkmywww.com. This thread is irrelevant in this case as he has requested the sites via PM obvisouly unaware of this threads existance (until now). Even it was was relevant, I never mentioned licencing anyway.

At first, he only wanted one of those sites and we had come to an agreement in terms of price. I sent a PM confirming all is good, requesting payment and stated everything that he would get for the price. Next thing I know, he has changed his mind YET AGAIN. From this point on I wasn't doing him any favours. I was sick and tired of having my time wasted and considering this was no mention of any licence for the second site, he wasn't getting it!

Finally, deal was completed, domains pushed, files and database sent, payment made - HOORAY!

Next thing I know, another PM arrives asking me setup and install everything for him - he even sent through the IP addresses, usernames and passwords for cPanel/FTP. You have got to be joking right?!? NO, I'm not joking. He was actually expecting me to setup these sites for him.

I think by now you get an idea of just how difficult this person has been to deal with.

After he started wasting my time and changing his mind all the time, I was doing him no favours. He got "EXACTLY" what we agreed on. Nothing more, nothing less.

One thing I am curious about though Jarmas - you mentioned you seen v3.3 listed on both sites. Neither of the sites have ever mentioned what version of phpLD they're running. Yes, they say they are "Powered by Php Link Directory" but never what version. Trust me, I know, I set them up!

To the mods/admins: If you feel like this deserves a ban/infraction/whatever - by all means, go for it. Clearly with this idiot accusing me of this, the more people that read it the more credibility (what I did have) I'm going to loose, so my account on this forum is almost pointless if I ever wanted to buy/sell again.

LookForav.com - Good to see you waited to hear both sides of the story before making judgement. I take it you are friends with Jarmas because anyone with half a brain wouldn't make such a comment without first hearing both sides.

 

To address your points:

I did not bid or post in that thread "SOLD" at all. Thus I am not obligated to buy. I mentioned in my PM "I will need some time to consider. Will PM you if I buy it."

2) I asked you politely to set-up the sites for me as I do not have experience setting up web directories on my own. When you refused to do so the 2nd time I asked, I did not pester you any longer to set-up for me.

3) It is well known that one can tell what version a website running on phpld is using. How we know is by checking it from the admin url. www.linkmyproxy.com/admin. At the footer of that link as well as the title tag it will show what version phpld it is running on. And it seems to me you took both the sites down www.linkmywww.com and www.linkmyproxy.com though you promised me sites will be up on your host till 27th June before they are taken down. This clearly shows that you are afraid once people finds out your version of phpld your case is lost. Where is your integrity? You said I have up to 27th June to set-up the sites and transfer them to my host and now you took them down to cover up your deceit so people can't find out what version phpld it's running on.

Right now, because you did not release the license to me, I am unable to set-up the site with phpld Version 3 files. In short, this makes it looks like I have been scammed.

This is not a matter of cash to me. Scamming me of the money doesn't bothers me as much. What really bothered me is you had no integrity in your dealings and even lied so many times in this sale.

I believe everyone understands how I feel right now as I can't set-up www.linkmyproxy.com at all without the license. All it takes is just for you to return the license to me as your OP says

 

Jarmas - you have lied and twisted this entire thing around and I'm done with you.

1. You offered $100 for itresource.com.au - you made the offer so technically, you have agreed to buy it by making that offer. Stop trying to use this against, you backed out of an offer and essentially a deal you initiated.

2. Your PM asked if it was v3, not 3.3 (check the PM - I'm looking at right now). The only time you started bringing up 3.3 was to try and use it against me. In any case, you have a licence for 3.3... so UPGRADE! If you are that smart and you knew it was v3.3, why did you accept the deal and not question it until after the deal was done/payment was made? I only ever mentioned v3 as stated above, so you were obviously happy with this at the time - until of course you needed something to use against me.

3. Setting up the sites was not part of the deal. That's like agreeing to buy a car, taking delivery of that car (signing the contract, making payment, etc) and then turning around asking for the first service free of charge! You've got to be bloody joking! You knew you were getting the files, databases and so on, as I stated this in a PM before you made payment. If you knew you couldn't set them up, you should have said something before making payment. If you had of asked me to set them at this point, I probably would have told you to go jump as you had already wasted so much of my time at this point with the constant mind changing and indecisiveness! Once again, another pointless argument on your behalf.

4. I took the websites offline because even now you continue to waste my time and I no longer want anything to do with someone that lies and tries to discredit someone because they are to bloody dumb to realise their own stupidity. I was more then happy to keep the sites live for you as I've done with every website I've sold. I'm currently keeping itresource.com.au live while the person who bought it sorts out hosting etc themselves. I'm more then happy to work with someone who is honest and forthcoming - exactly what you are not! I could just say that I changed my mind about keeping them live and decided to take them offline. In fact, why not change my mind and waste your time for a change - you have done plenty of this to me.

5. This thread is irrelevant as the deal was initially started by you requesting the other sites I had for sale without any reference was so ever to this thread. At this point, this thread was useless, so stop referring to it in an attempt to back up your arguments. You obviously had no idea that this thread existed by asking me what other sites I had for sale. If on the other hand you posted in this thread asking for further details, then by all means, your argument you stick - but not in this case.

You have nothing against me and everything is documented in the PMs that were sent and received. I've gone over them a number of times just ensure I'm in the clear. You got exactly what was agreed on.

I've wasted WAY to much time on this already and I refuse to waste any more. If you can actually come up with one bit of hard evidence that proves without a doubt that you have been scammed, then I'm more then happy to make some kind of arrangement with you. Until such a time, I'm no longer replying to anything else you or anyone else has to say. I feel I have explained everything openly and quite clearly for all to read. I have no reason to scam anyone nor am I that kind of person. If you do manage to find this evidence, feel free to PM me and we can talk. Forget about trying to use anything above against me as none of it has any credibility what so ever.

The only thing I am talking over with you right now is simply the 2nd point of your latest post which is the phpld license version 3. The rest are no longer important.

Cybermatic, you have misunderstood the whole situation heavily. For your information, phpld version 3 and above is the paid license. Disregard of whether is it version 3.3 or 3 it is still the paid version. Both your sites www.linkmyproxy.com and www.linkmywww.com are phpld version 3 and above which means both are paid licenses and the moment there is no license for either one of them, they wont be able to be set-up.

Only phpld version 3 and below is considered the free license. The evidence lies in your own hands at the same time. Check the files you sent me, open both sites files, open the 'install' folder and open the install file. You will see that the phpld version for both sites is phpld version 3 which means both sites are on paid licenses. Now that you have kept one license back for yourself as mentioned to me by your PM, I am unable to set-up www.linkmyproxy.com simply because the license is with you and not me.

I am asking you kindly to give me the license for www.linkmyproxy.com otherwise I can't get www.linkmyproxy.com working. I saw this thread and posted sold its all the same. I bought it knowing full well that both sites have phpld version 3 on them as I see you mention

Here's all the evidence you would ever need, it's also in your own hands. Please honor your end of the agreement and send me the license. That's also why the BST marketplace section exist, you can't deny the existence of this thread when deals are made.

 

I have given you a chance to contact me via PM with evidence of how I scammed you however, yet again you have wasted my time quoting text which is not relevent and continuing to tell me the same thing over again.

I refuse to reply to any further threads or PM's regarding this deal, either from Jarmas, other users, mods or admins.

All the evidence in this thread shows it as it is that you owe me the phpld version 3 license for www.linkmyproxy.com which you refuse to give. Refusal to give the buyer all that is in the sale results in you scamming the buyer.
