I know on dp, green rep is good and red is bad, but what is grey? If it is not + or -, then whats the point? thanks i searched and found nothing, so i ask
Grey are those who wants to rep someone maybe in the GC forums but do not have enough reputation power, so it is grey instead.
You may want to take a look at this sticky http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=173583 It is quite comprehensive.
if you repped this post, it would be gray because you have no rep power. if i repped you, you would get some green cause i got the power.
Grey rep is only visible by you in the usercp, green and red rep is public and visible to the whole community
AFAIK, when you are at the stage " User is at an unknown point ", your rep bar is neither green nor red but grey
Interesting.. i can say i never remember seeing grey on my rep at the peon stage.. i will have to keep me eye on the noobs to check that theory
If you were a peon with the standard green bar, and suddenly got a couple of negatives, you could see yourself grey. I'll try and look for a couple of examples.
