    Hello Friends,

I hope you know that all the pain you take in tediously researching the Internet and writing contents for your website, can actually be stolen in few minutes and used by other website owners on their website.

They can also steal your website design...from the Menu Style to the Icons you have used and even your website logo. YES!! Thats true.

I did not know that people can so shamelessly rip off everything from your website and display it on their website. It Amazing!! Really...

So that you believe that this actually happened, I will provide you examples.

Look at my website, www.designarcade.com. We have worked hard to find each and every image that would best explain the purpose, extensively researched for days about how the structure of our site would look like so that the visitors may not find it difficult to locate the various sections of our website, we have spend days to come up with a desired content so that we communicate well to our visitors. But....look at those following websites:

http://www.hitechitsoft.com/ - They have stolen the Design of our entire website.

http://www.eastendbd.com/ - They have stolen the Design of our website, the contents and even our website Logo.

http://www.creative27designs.com/ - They have stolen some parts of Design from our website and the contents of the following pages are exactly what we have written on our website.

    http://www.creative27designs.com/website-redesign.htm
    - The entire content of this page (314 words) have been copied from OUR website page : http://www.designarcade.com/website-redesign.html

    http://www.creative27designs.com/corporate-identity.htm
    - The entire content of this page (161 words), the Layout Design of the Tables…all have been copied from OUR website page : http://www.designarcade.com/corp_id.html

    http://www.creative27designs.com/site-maintenance.htm
    - The entire content of this page (218 words) have been copied from OUR website,http://www.designarcade.com/site-maintenance.html

    This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!

As of now all these websites are live with our Design/Content. In any case, they change/remove their website design, you can check the screenshots of those websites in my Blog at : http://www.designarcade.com/blog/ (Category : Our Copyright Infringement). Although I want them to remove my design yet I gave you the Link to my Blog to prove that I am not making any false statement here, but seeking real help.

Can anyone please help me as to what action shall I take against them so that they remove their website and not do so again. Also what are the measures by which I can protect my website.

Your valuable suggestions will really be helpful.

    Thank you in advance.

Try to report it to google! And secondly, do some whois on the domains and find out what host are they using. And report that site to the host they are on (give some proofs to the host). And I'm pretty sure they'll banned that site. :)

A nice example of scraping, I've read alot of threads about this problem. Report them to Google and try to get them screwed by their hosting company, legit hosts really don't like their users being involved in these kind of activities. Hope you succeed in getting them banned.

Hello everybody and thank you all for your valuable feedbacks.

Thanks to akel for sharing archive.org which is defnitely helpful in tracing results as to who launched their site first on web. But akel to reply to your other point I would like to mention that we are a website design and development company and the site was designed by US in house from scratch. We did not hire any web designer to do the same.

The dmca of google suggested by magda is a good idea and I will surely do that.

Thanks for all your inputs once again. I will take all necessary steps mentioned by you all here.

    Thanks,

look on their whois, send them a letter explaining what you will do first. See what their reply is then take it further
