Congrats, DP!

I think it's a great idea to make this a paid forum, not allow signature sales and make sig links no follow.
Even though I have sold my signature in the past and benefitted from the "links juice", the thought of this forum getting back to it's old quality is something I like.

So anyways, this thread will probably turn into 40 pages of whining, but all I want to say is that this is an excellent move.

Digitalpoint has given webmasters more freedom than any other, and unfortunately it's gotten abused.

So whoever doesn't want to pay a small amount like $50.00 to a forum which has benefitted them in much bigger ways should find cheaper ways to get free information.

Anyways, since the thread Roman started has been closed, I hope it's ok for me starting a discussion actually praising this decision as the best one.

Why not, everyone is benefitting from DP, and I believe the mods deserve to get paid, so why not make it worth their while and ensure only serious members will remain?

 

its a step in the right direction, the mods work their asses off for nothing
and this place has more scammers in it then Carter had peanuts.

I am not saying he should not do this but if I remember correctly then it has been discussed before aswell and the answer was no. Though making this forum a paid one will definitely improve the quality of the threads, sales and only serious members will stay.
