If you use Wordpress then John Chow's Ebook might be a good idea and SEOBook is another great ebook!

Yes, SEOBook is good for newbies.
I'm not sure if it's worth $79 (or whatever it costs) though.

You can learn a lot by just reading posts here on DP. Up-to-date information for free ;)

No ebook is needed if you just follow the posts here at DP.
    I recommend no books.

"Make a million dollar a day" ebook is a great one. I recommend it. However, I think the price is a little bit high for you (don't recall if it was fifty thousand or something around that line).

    Peace,

DP is all you need. save your money and read DP posts. use the search feature to search for threads related to your question. and ask also, there are lot of people here who like to help.

and if you aer already reading Joel Comm's ebook on adsense, thats all yo need to get started. i read the book myself and he has some good info for newbies.

    DO NOT BUY EBOOKS

    That's just for starters.
But generally, the best thing to do is get a site or two, and start reading Digital Point Forums. Read them all the time.
Apply what you learn daily here. Be happy to make mistakes. Occasionally buy services that have a good reputation - not from sites, but DP's freelancers.
And if you are new to this, the wisest thing to do is do everything yourself. Do not waste your money on books.

do not buy any ebook, you can find all you need in forums, and website keep it's simple most the SEO knowledge that you need can be concluded in one word (sorry two), Good Content. when you write good content you attract visitors that are looking for that information.

besides that some tips can be found every where on the net, remember that almost all the SEO knowledge is based on tries and error.
Google will not say to you what work or not.

For adsense you can go to the http://adsense.com to the help section and read.
Also you can go to http://adsense.blogspot.com - Google official blog for adsense.
You can search this forum for the information that you need.
and last you can look for information on my own blog dealing with adsense at http://simply-adsense.com/blog (I know I'm new here and I don't want it to looked like a spam, I really think this can help)

You can subscribe to the newsletters of Brad Callen which is free. He sends SEO related newsletters in PDF format which is highly useful. I learned a lot by this way :)

Under my point of view it isn't neccesary to buy ebooks about these topics. You can learn about SEO and how to improve your AdSense earnings by reading and participating in forums and other interesting sites ;)

Also don't forget to read the Inside Adsense blog!

    Yep, I agree.

Also, the resources provided by Adsense are pretty useful, and SEO techniques can be found easily on the internet.

No need to pay for free available info.

THIS ebook sold nearly 1,000 copies here at DP for $10 each (with 29 pages of comments and reviews, 99.9% positive) - but it's now free HERE.

it's not an "adsense" or "SEO" ebook per-se, it's more of a website success case-study. But if you're a new webmaster, or just looking to get started, you might get some ideas from it..

Dont buy any ebooks ever. If you need good information about adsense or SEO. earch around here in DP. there are tons of useful threads for yo to read.
they even have somebody give away seo ebook for free at freebies section but they will not be so different from DP content.

I've read a few ebooks, but over time you start to realise they all say the same thing. DP forum has been invaluable to me, and worth a million ebooks :)
