    -- SCAMMER ALERT --

A reputable member of DigitalPoint has become a scammer.

    Member Name: Ash

    She stole my domain names:

    Zmul.com / Zmul
    GJRF.com / Gjrf

Please see this thread where I dealt with her publicly.

She paid me once, took away the payment. I called her out. She then had her "partner" pay me. Now, that payment has been reversed.

The first PayPal email address used for payment was: / kellywillhite
The second PayPal email address used was: / mstearns84
The Scammers contact email and the name I transfered the names to is: / bobwilkok

Be on the look out for this scammer and do not do business with her, no matter how convincing her story.

    I will post updates.

No, I called GoDaddy and they said that since I did not sell it on TDNAM that they are not responsible. They wont freeze that person's GoDaddy account. They won't give me a paper trail, they wont do anything to help me other than tell me to email some other department. And I have 200 domain names reg'd with them..

What a damned shame, i really hope that you will get your domains back (remote possibility though). I believe there is a way to stop the chargeback from PP (but it relies on the sender issuing a dispute then cancelling the dispute). Can't remember where i saw it, but it could have been here on DP.

I'm very interested to find out how you did that? All that GoDaddy tells me is they don't get involved, other than house and facilitate the scammer.

My names are still stolen, please if anyone contacts you to buy these names, contact me immedietly, PLEASE...

Sorry to hear of your loss but I am thankful that you shared it and the way you shared it. The detail that you explained, how you tracked the situation and the responses by others paint a picture that will be helpful for those that find themselves in similar situations. It may also help people steer themselves to the safe higher ground before they get into a mess.

People here seem to be helpful and care a lot about fellow forum members. Everything I've seen in my short 3 days here has been Good Stuff.

    - Go Daddy seems like a black-hole on this one.

well, I'll tell you what: I just posted how I like to purchase domains from namecheap versus GoDaddy, BUT at least you can get hold of a live person at GoDaddy if you need to.

Please keep us advised to the situation.

I just got off of a 2 hour conversation with GoDaddy.

They refuse to help me. They say that they will have the names for 60 days. And that I should file a claim with local law enforcement.

And from there I need a court order to GoDaddy to give my names back.

They said that me, a long term customer with 200 domain names, my word is not good enough. The fact that this scammer is funneling all these stolen names into an account is not good enough.

They choose to not get involved.. It is not a LAW..

Call the GoDaddy Executive Services phone number and let them know what you think.

1-480-505-8885 - GoDaddy executive services, don't let them transfer you!

1-480-505-8828 - GoDaddy office of the president

Call them and let them know what you think about them supporting scammers.

Also, GoDaddy confirmed that If I were to go around stealing names that they would not take them away from me, the confirmed that they do infact help scammers.. WTF!
