I wouldn't say I dislike it. I'd just rather use PHProxy.

phproxy don't have hotlinking disabled, which result as baandwidth wastage, crashing of server on peak times.
Glype have this option disabled so I am using Glype in all new proxies and changed older ones also.

Phproxy has hotlinking enabled, but you can disable it. Not much of a problem ;)

I have good articles that will help saving bandwidth on proxies and they are really good.

Anyone getting lots of MFA sites in their proxy site these days?
I've blocked many, which most of them landing into a parking page (domain).

A few domains i've added to my competitive list:
    schoolsecurity.info
    free-proxy-server.net
    proxyserversonline.com

is it ok if I use my normal site to apply for adversal, and if it is approved, then I throw in my proxy sites into it?

I heard Adversal has been rejecting everyone's applications for the past few months. Me myself got rejected 3 times even though I used a site that has over 4million hits a month.

I was using glype up to a couple mins ago, i installed it on my server by uploading the entire "upload" folder and i started to access it online.

1)Firstly, i realise that it doesn't load msn.com to well
    2) i went on my space and i was trying to reply to a comment but when ever i click reply it would just refresh:S
3)Yes sometimes the page loads very fast, so fast that its finish before the loading bar is completed. I guess this happens if your surfing pages within that one domain alone untill you access another domain.
    4) And the final anonying part is the hotlinking prevention occuring when i try to access a page within the domain i was surfing that had some javascript on it. Now i don't understand why i got the "Hotlinking directly to proxified sites is not permitted."

Other than these anonying things i believe glype is worth it.

I was using the 0.5.1 version. Did i do something out of the ordinary?

In my experience no proxies have built in hotlink protection which blocks blank referrers. This is the only protection that really matters. I think I had some clients that paid for it but that was about it.

very interesting! Good news is that I don't believe that it actually serves as a proxy/anonymizer....

According to Whois, it is registered to Google.

I wonder what it is for.

    That's weird.

How much does it cost with everything? I have domain/hosting, do i need to buy anything else?
