    They might be working on site. They should be back up in no time.

    Same problem here. Dir scripts need to cache these locally. MSN eventually will get tired of us pulling their thumbs...

    I think the same thing (seo), I think they messed up and they do not know how to fix it. I just happen to know where they can hire a good fixer-upper for that kind of stuff.

    It possible that they got tired of directory owners eating up their band width.

    I don't know of any other free services. Alexa has a service but you have to pay monthly.

    I changed some of mine to:
    Just changed this code:

    http://msnsearch.srv.girafa.com/srv/i?s=MSNSEARCH&r={$link.URL}

    To this one adding
    artviper.net/screenshots/screener.php? &url=

    Works great now. I don't know if we are getting msn back or not so went ahead and changed. Got tired of my sites looking messed up.

    Free with a reasonable clause:
    In their usage licence - http://www.thumbshots.org/license.aspx they also mention:
    I notice you and some others who have moved on from the msn.girafa do not follow the licencing guidelines above.

    Basically put, you're sponging again as you did with the msn.girafa thumbshots.
