My Page CTR is really low.

What changes do you think I should make to increase it?

I am currently making all google ads into banners to see if users prefer them.

    Your ideas?

Try using text only ads on the front page, that 300x250 might preform much better that way.

those type of sites normally have a low CTR. Even with good ad placement. Sorry I can not offer much in advice and the layout looks good to me.

Try that for a few days and report back, you'll see much better results with the text only ads. Don't change to much at one time, take it slow and figure out what works.

"really low" is absolutely NO scientific number to make a sound judgement if something can be improved or needs to be improved.

a number would be a good start!

it seems you have never read some of the very extensive threads we had earlier this year in this forum.

you have limited bidding competition by limiting your ads - one ad is text only - the other image
an image ad can be filled for 1 cent if YOU exclude all healthy natural competition.

    for details also see

in addition to possible changes - above all you should at your present moment far more focus on creating quantities of good content to get visitors. by now you have near zero visitors on your site.

if you have generic human visitors you also get real CTR
