I was looking for some good SEO tools. I found some which are highly recommended by big seo guys. One is Web Position Gold. Yesturday, I have purchased WebPosition 4 Professional Edition. Things I found are: 1. Report : A very Good Reporting Tool, really very good. 2. Wordtracker Keywords : Ok It Show KEI, Compitition and Popularity I want a mix of 1 and 2 in one report. It is not showing that 3. Page Critic : Again a good report, but not very good suggestions and recommendations. 4. Submitter : It is of NO use now a days. 5. Web Trends Analysis : Ok 6. Scheduler : Fine Rest is Ok. What i personally feel is this tool is good for Report and a bit good at page critic. Rest is so so. I mean how can an SEO use this tool in big way? What do you say ?? It may happen that i have not seen the real beauty of sofware. Can you suggest better tool please.
Well I don't quite get your questions, never used web position gold, but here I go.. - keyword tracker: > http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/ free and easy to use, you can set up keywords for your websites and those from competitors, displayes in graphic charts. Great tool and free! - stats analasys: > http://www.google.com/analytics/ best I've seen sofar, it's urchin but then for free! keyword tracking, geo tracking, conversion stats, track ppc, organic search, to much to handle.. At the moment they stoped taking new accounts, leave them an email and you'll be notified when they take on new accounts. - page critic: > http://validator.w3.org/ use this tool to see your pages within w3 standards, also check this page: http://www.yellowpipe.com/yis/tools/lynx/lynx_viewer.php to see who spiders see your website, from top to bottom. Great tools, all for free. - submitter: > http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65 this forum has a big directory promotion, check this often to see the new web directories. Check this thread with all the web directory FAQ.. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=25101
Don't auto submit to web directories, just a waste of time and you'll recieve a ton of spam mail in return. Use for instance submission services frequently offered in this forum: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60 for instance http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=27271 and http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=34130 and http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=39282 Best to do it yourself.
Depends what your looking for.. What to you want with your website. If you want PR just buy a few links from high pr pages and voila you're done. If you're looking for link building, keyword ranking and traffic.. Yes, directory submissions can help. One thing I don't understand is you have a website about SEO but you don't understand SEO??
Question... Everything in your signature says SEO. Is that a company you own or run? If so, why are you asking questions like this one? Could be wrong.
Well, I think wrong message is going to you all. I know SEO well, I can discuss long on any seo topic. By asking such questions I want to share your experiences and not theory.
