Is DP turning into chaos? Fraud, cheating, scamming....

For those that say it's nothing but the buyers problem to do the research on not getting scammed. I hope that YOU get scammed by someone with 100+ Itrader and 11 green rep blobs. I've seen deals get brought up here against members just like that.

How you to honestly know who is a scammer here on DP? Search for their member names in the Underground? It's against the policies of the Digital Point to call people out here, so it very rarely gets done, and if it does get done in the thread the deal took place, it gets deleted (I assume so others can get scammed).

Most folks with Low Itrader won't pass negative scores to others, so that's not a viable system either. Not that building up positive is all that hard...sell wordcloud links for a penny and start passing out the green yourself...many will return the favor (for a penny!).

Any deal here on DP is "buyer beware"

 

its you fault buddy if you want good don't hesitate to pay for good.

i owened a site which has only around 1gb bandwidth a months but i'm paying $8/month, i could have gone to cheap for such less bandwidth but i needed the best and i'm at the best now never seen any downtime since 7-8 months from the host.

 

That is not just financial.
But how to be safe to make transaction on this forum.
If admin or moderator just seeing to scammed victim, that scammer will try to find other and other victim.
And your member will be leave from this forum.

Alot of people need safe forum for make transactions.

Maybe admin can build escrow system on this forum.
its will be safe for your member. seller/buyer can send to escrow account the first.
After seller/buyer delivery the item, escrow will be send payment to buyer/seller.
You can charge escrow fee for that.
Be safe for make transaction on your forum, and you will get money from escrow fees.

 

Every website/forum has his ups and downs. Bad thing happen. But take a look from the bright sid. Most deals turn out good

 

This is definitely becoming an issue. I mean only today, I uncovered a member who was out to make a quick buck on the back of someone else's hard work. To be honest being relatively new here I didn't really know the real extent of the problem.

It is a real shame because as a result of certain people's behaviour legitimate traders on DigitalPoint are going to suffer one way or another.

 

just need to be careful with deal with anyone in DP. even senior member can fool you. check all info as possible and deal them with care.

 

i really don't see any problem with shaun...isn't that how brokers work?
