What's the best forum to ask a question about how to conduct business?

I want to know how much a site I am trying to sell will be worth, or how much I can expect to sell it at current market prices.

I want to know how to price my banner ads and square image ads on a site.

Which forum is best-suited to ask these kinds of questions relating to doing business? The sites sales forum and the ad sales forums are full of ads to sell/buy stuff, so I am not so sure that those would be forums to ask my questions, or are they?

ask all the questions in one post. then as people reply you can ask them other questions

 

For advertising inquiries, including price quotes regarding link sales etc, threads should really be posted in the General Marketing forum.

Regarding the sale of a site, generally its value is based upon its revenue. Most sites sell at the amount of revenue your site generates in 10 months (if you make $100 per month expect to sell at no less than $1000 for example). You can get better price quotes, as long as you provide necessary info such as stats and revenue, in the Sites forum of the B/S/T.

Any questions generally related to business should obviously be posted in the General Business forum.

And just because the Buy/Sell/Trade forum has mostly sales threads, don't be afraid to ask questions in there. If you need a price quote, you can definitely request one in the appropriate sub-forum. After-all, you will be seeking members to trade knowledge and price quotes with you.
