Google may soon come out with an entirely new technology to detect self-clicks (clicks on the ads by publishers themselves). Whenever we apply for an Adsense account, applicants need to give their fingerprint impression. Then whenever they clicks on their own website ads, Google will find it out through fingerprint technology... all PC and Mac mice will have fingerprint detection soon... Trying to predict the future.
Not happening anytime soon. And I doubt people want to use something like that with all the privacy concerns.
So goverment has to change the law that forces ppl to buy mouses which have finger print detection? just because of G or smt like that? Google is a big G but not that big to change the law mate ... What if I dont want to buy that kind of mouse? or even I have but I want to use another? or they gonna put some kinda camera on my house to watch wether I use that kind of mouse or not? Silly enough!
Yeah, I understand google wanting to fight click fraud. But finger printing on the net just raises to many questions.
Please how about the new device that the medical community is working on that will people who are otherwise unable to control things around thier house by reading thier mind. How would you like google to have that.
A lot of ideas seem silly at the beginning.... Here is an interesting article: http://www.usatoday.com/tech/columnist/kevinmaney/2005-07-05-famous-quotes_x.htm
In an attempt to provide advertisers with the best bang for the buck on pay per impression ads google will require all web surfers to wear special sun glasses that record which ads you look at and for how long. G says this revolutionary idea will help marketers by only charging them for ads people look at.
Now that would be funny, but like 100% of the people who post here they were banned by G, typically weren't thinking. So they were technically safe. tom
Using advanced weather patterns the russian military will place the technology into the hands of google to pinpoint cheaters and then use special cameras via the mapping technology to photo people on the crapper and publicly humilate them via several online channels. The first you'll know that you're a cheater is when a message that simply states "we know where you live" appears on the screen in the form of a crappy pop up that is supposed to look like a windows window. Next, your neighbours will be pointing and laughing whilst wiggling their little finger at you suggestively as a result of a leaflet campaign using the aforementioned technologies. Finally a Mr T lookalike and Screech from Saved by the Bell will strap you to a broken surfboard and parade you down 42nd street in NYC during rush hour. If that's not the truth, then I don't know what is!
