The North American Union & the "Amero" currency

A key financial component of this National Deconstruction Plan is the eventual adoption of a North American Regional Currency, the “Amero,” as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) consultant Robert Pastor named it. This of course would entail the final destruction of the U.S. Dollar, the demise of which has already begun - - or should we say, is being managed

Fvck socialists with their one-world currency. I am fully invested in gold and commodities, except for pocket money to buy groceries. That way I don't have to pay inflation tax. If no one owns any money, banksters will have to get a real job.
Besides, you won't be able to buy anything with amero without govermint knowing about it, it will be a cashless currency. I'd rather keep my affairs private

Why would canada ever agree to have the same currency as the US and same thing as US with Mexico? Seriously, Im not an economist what would be the benefit.

The only benefit and the reason Canada will agree to it is that Canada lawmakers will receive kickbacks from bankers and CFR

Having one unified world currency would be a capitalist move, it would get rid of exchange rates and allow free trade across the entire planet. Saying the Amero would be socialist is like saying Hillary Clinton in a right wing fascist.

The economies of our free trade world would bolster across the board with less bullcrap every single fucking day exchange rates and exchange rate taxes hampering the goddamn global trade. Eliminate all tariffs and all blockages for trade - Business will benefit world wide. Only idiots are afraid their jobs will be lost... the only reason they are is because the competition works better, harder, faster, and cheaper.

Eliminate the minimum wage and you get to have everyone in any country doing every job - THAT is capitalist. Socialism is when you mandate taxes to keep jobs, when you tax the hell out of everything, and when you mandate a minimum wage, and when you redistribute wealth rather than let the market handle it. Jeeze... anyone here even take economics? At least Macroeconomics? Maybe microeconomics? Or at least watch a business channel?

I can see no reason why Canada would ever want their currency to be tied to that of the US. Especially in our current economic situation.

North American Union. It won't last long though. Once Euro, Amero, Afro, etc. are implemented, they'll replace them with one-world currency. And with it comes one-world goberment and no national borders

A North American Union has been talked about fairly openly for the past few years. Canada's elite will be just as willing to sell out national sovereignty as would American and Mexican elite. What's in it for them? A ton of money.

Eventually, this superstate could spread all throughout the Americas if some have their way.

You'd think that this super devious worldwide conspiracy would be able to realize contradictions on their own site. Shocking!

Is that all you are concerned about? How about your country's independence? The NAU will do to Canada, the US, and Mexico what it the E.U. is currently doing to Europe -- erasing national boundaries.

Of course not, Canada's identity will surely be in more trouble.. it is already (lol.. we had to learn about it in history) but anyways, we definitely don't want to be "rounded off" as part of the states.

One good thing that will come out if it for Canadians is that Quebecois will certainly be in the minority. Then again, we'll all be expected to bone up on our Spanish language skills.

    Ole!

Mmm, I love burritos and tamales :) Had some Mexican food for lunch today!

Isn't the NAU just another big conspiracy? To pull this off, it would take cooperation between all three country's political parties. Right now, democrats and republicans in the US can't agree on *anything* at all. I wonder if those that subscribe to this conspiracy have really thought about what it would take to pull something like this off?

Or does everyone really believe there are some lizard illuminati people that just sit behind computers all day punching buttons to make all the world decisions?

Perhaps now is a good time to invest in pharmaceuticals?

Yep. Just another pathetic conspiracy. The believers in it, on this forum, ran away from the last discussion about it. Facts don't matter, as always.
