i was planning to made a bid directory for one of my site, i already have one based on phplinkbid, this time i want a phpld based link directory.
is the paid one comming anytime soon, or should i go for the free one. i mean after editing the free one to suit my needs i guess it will be a bit tough to update to the paid 3.2 verion.
anyways, the bidding script looks promishing!:)

    www.bigweblinks.com is a good example.

The sites that bid more , get listed higher - simple concept.

If you feel some site is good (someone else's), you can bid for it and improve its position. Thus it can also act as a ranking directory. However hardly anyone bids for others' sites :D.

    Edit:Spelling.

I advise you go with phplinkbid anyway.

Other than those with custom scripts made with asp, like chris has for bidweblinks and his other two, the majority of bidding directories use phplinkbid. Its really good, has IPN and a good admin panel.

I only know of one person that has worked with the templates, Dawzz.
If you decide to purchase, I'll make sure you get a solid answer on this.
    Thanks,

The search functions doesn't seem to be working in Version 2.12.

Also the link you have given isn't really a link. :). Please correct it.
