Free Bid for Position Script

There is now a new version of phpLD that allows you to run a site that allows people to bid for position on their links. While this is still new product, it seems to be working flawlessly for people that have tried it so far, and it even seems people are making money from it already.

how is the template engine? is it still on Smarty?

 

wondering why dont we make it for phpld 3.2 rather than phpld 2.1.2

i dont like the template upgrade ... u can't have multiple templates installed in there ....


also that way each users can have their own detail page also ...

 

script doesnt seem to be automatic?

Just added 2 sights and still having to wait for approval...

i think thts a good thing because it can let the owner decide whether to approve or not ....

 

why when i get the notice of payment, if i dont like the sight...
i just issue a refund and its gone automatically...

To me that was one of the attributes i liked most about bid directories..

Yes, it is a modded version of phpLD version 2.1.2
We have a 3.2 version already in use on about 4 sites now, and it will be available soon. But we want to keep testing and refining a little longer. I hope some will like this free version in the mean time.

 

i would like to get the 3.2 version, if possible, for www.bidforpositiondirs.com since phplb doesnt let me customize the way Smarty can.

your 2 sites approved. approval system is not automatic, same as phpld admin, need to approve links from admin.

I have also done similar thing with PHPLD v2.0 at my directory www.signitas.com.

I agree with Malcolm, having instant approval really sets bidding directories apart from regular ones. Imagine if you were at an auction and ever time you bidded the auction was held up while you were verified
