Hi We all know what a red rep is - very bad! But what is the difference between grey and green reps, I have had some grey ones recently. When I leave rep, I only get I approve / I dissapprove, I have noticed the Grey one has no points value - what on earth is this all about? Thanks
Grey are neutral, they do not affect your rep count. You will receive greys when people rep you in the general chat section or when they have 0 rep power.
Thanks again for that, I am getting loads of greys, my last 2 have been greys, I want to get greens!!!!! Oh, well at least they appreciated what i said......
the members who has over all red reps, or have less than 25 posts etc, gives those grey reps! also you get those grey ones in the general section! cheers
Members with Rep Power = 0, when they give red or green rep, its just grey. When members with Rep Power >=1, give rep, you see them as red or green
What do you mean by reps in the chat or general section. The only reps I give are through the i trader link on the profile. How does the other one work?
Paul, you aren't giving reps through the itrader link on the profile, you are giving them itraders...You are only giving them to people you have conducted business with right? Like KingJacob said, You give reps by clicking on the weight scales of each post that you like or find useful, of course if there is something you don't like or people aren't behaving correctly in the b/s/t/ area, you can tell them with a red that you don't approve. EDIT: You cannot trade itraders for freebies. Whether they are listed in the right category or not.
Thanks for your help never woudl have even considered clicking the scales if you hadn't explained it to me How do I know how much I have myself?
Click on the link at the top of the page that says user CP and scroll down to the bottom to see the rep you currently have. Or you can click on one of your posts (the weight scale) to see the amount of rep points you currently have. The user CP is a better option IMO. EDIT: Someone had to draw me a picture when I first learned about rep...lol
UserCP also allows you to see the last 5 reps received.(nah, not the username unless there's a name in it)
