Nothing is guaranteed in this world! Nor is Dmoz... no approval rate guarantee, some active editor take less time to approve listings and other maybe take even longer. There is no answer to your question. Would advice you to keep waiting!
DMOZ can take months may be 6 months. Frankly no one can tell you time. I never had a luck with dmoz. None of my sites are listed in dmoz.
What hapens after you die? If you answer me that i will answer your question. Just kidding,if you submit it right and you have the content to get in,you finaly after some looooong time you will. But the best way to deal with the situation is just to forget it. Welcome!!!Here you can learn that are more ways to promote your ste with better impacts.Sorry for my english.
Don't expect much 'coz DMOZ have their editors approving or disapproving those submitted sites.. If they disapproved there's nothing you can do about it... It will not be approved and get listed in DMOZ... 'coz the approval in DMOZ is liked this: editors + DMOZ approved = approved
DMOZ is a Good directory but I don't rely on it. I think a year or 6 months depends on how many time you resubmit your page and how quality is your content.I recommend to submit ones.
I submitted my first site about two years ago and it was approved about 3 months later. Then last year I submitted my second site but it took about 7 months before it was approved. So the time seems to be getting longer.
It takes anywhere from 2 minutes to a few years (if it meets the listing guidelines) to never (if it does not meet the listing guidelines)
They have never got back to me, but they accepted my site. I changed site once and contacted them, they took about a month to update my url. Don't expect an answer and be prepared to wait a long time
I have added 100's of sites within 24hrs of being submitted and was not paid. You really have to stop giving the impression people have to pay to get listed, as people start believing it and then get cranky when they get caught. See what happened here. It is somewhat amusing that editors say don't do it and those that say do it are those that are disgruntled for whatever reason with DMOZ. It is the unfortunate webmaster who chooses to believe the disgruntled. I also find it amusing that some also believe that a link on DMOZ is even worth paying for! - its only a link!
still waiting for almost a year now resubmitted it for like 3 times ... i think i am gonna kiss-a-dmoz-editors-ass for this one
ofcourse not the site in my profile sites wich i made for customers ! i know the rules of Dmoz , but submissions take ages ! i think the editor for E-learning isnt awake at Dmoz
That's really a waste of your ass-kissing effort. At least for something more valuable than a dumb link on a PR4 page. Not bad, but not worth extraordinary effort. Brace yourself for a maximum wait. The only listed editor is "sole" who is solely responsible for all of the dmoz.org/Reference/ section! You might die before she gets to your site. Sure, there are some editall etc that might wander in, but don't hold your breath. Could be up to five years, unless sole reads this and wants to prove me wrong.
