It's going to take awhile to see some results. You have to be patient because of that 30 day cookie. The key is to making sure you get high quality clicks from visitors that will and do eventually purchase on Ebay.

Well if you knew the secret to that you'd have a truck load of money in no time.

I guess the key is to have really good content sites that attract qualified users and thereore targeted well to click on the auctionads.

You're right, what I should have clarified in my comment was to attempt to get the right visitors who may purchase something anywhere on ebay within 30 days.

I've setup 10 different campaigns with different keywords to find out what is converting. The campaigns are rotating with een Openads server.
I''ll wait 30 days and see what the results will be.

That's a pretty keen idea. However do you know if your adserver will convert the links properly to keep your cookie around?

The link won't be modified, I'm tracking clicks through my auctionads account.

Isn't Auctionads a venture by ShoeMoney? It will be interesting iuf he tells us roughly how much the highest earners make through Auctionads to get a sense of what might be possible with this program.

I set up an AuctionAds account on 05/25, my results are as follows:

    05/25: Impressions: 11946 Clicks: 354 Revenue: 0.00
    05/26: Impressions: 17757 Clicks: 387 Revenue: 0.00
    05/27: Impressions: 11915 Clicks: 218 Revenue: 0.39

I'm very excited seeing $0.39 after only 2.5 days, from what I understand seeing revenue or even small revenue so soon may be a good sign. Now I should mentioned I did make a few changes last night to my site, and those changes were basically placing the ads in ever single place I could think of on my site without them being intrusive or deceptive, and I placed alot of them, since there is no limit to the number of ads you may place on your site I placed up to 9 ads on some pages and atleast 5-6 on most.

If the proccess I used actually works then I think its important for people to remember you get what you give, if you place only 1 banner then think about how many people will see it, you want people to see these ads everywhere they turn without them being intrusive, also you don't need to deceptively place the ads either since clicks don't matter, your looking for people whom actually want to click on them and not those whom mistakenly click on them. I am going to spend some more time thinking about how I can increase the visibility of the ads even more. I'll post more updates once I have any :)

Edit: Ohh and for quick mention, having all those ads on my site hasn't slowed it down in the least, its rather shocking how quickly they load.

Wow. That is some nice earning money, Jeremy. When is AuctionAds going to start taking a piece of that for themselves, or are you already? Also...Have you seen much success with people post it on their blogs because I have one small ad unit per article (as you can see here) and I wonder if it will have any luck.

I think the problem with many affiliate ad programs is that they get greedy. When Adsense first came out the payouts were incredible however gradually they got lower and lower until somone bringing in 100 clicks per day would begin averaging $1.50 in earnings on good days. Also google adsense evidently doesn't pay you for every single click, google is incredible greedy and if your making $3,000 a month with google don't even try to imagine what they are making off you. When you think about it, people like us spend all our time pouring over conversion data hoping to make good earnings and still come up short alot of the time, so simple people whom don't have any knowledge of this stuff and just want to make a few extra dollars per month have it incredible rough.

Well if the publishers are not making money they will not user your product. Its not rocket science ;) Really that is why the best affiliates start there own networks... CJ and azoogleads were both founded by super affiliates. They no how to negotiate payouts so there publishers get paid the most and they can still remain profitable.

Yeah I definetly agree with you in regards to publishers, however finding credible companies can be difficult which is why alot of people end up using adsense and abrite, the best network programs are generally startup programs since they pay there publishers almost 100% of the net revenue generated from the ads however once these systems get out of beta or startup the parties done, YPN is a good example, once the beta ends and they go international the good times are over.

I think Shoe is doing a bang-up job keeping AA fresh with new features. I honestly think it is a the luck of the draw to make big numbers with this kinda of model...mostly pay per action.

So Shoemoney, do you have any plans to go to something other than ebay? I know it is pretty simple to consumer their auction feeds, but I think you would make a killing if you could launch a program that uses pay per lead!

    Rock on

Actually something like that could theoretically work but they would need a very specific system like Auctionads , maybe shoe will make one :p , the systems I've seen so far are rather bogus, like Adultfinders system, some people are able to bring in alot using it but Adult finder content isn't suitable for probably 95% of websites since they don't revolve around adult dating, or adult material. A good keyword based lead system would rock though, and using smaller sites as clients would probably get results, sites that charge say $5 a month for registration and are targetted at the right audience would be more successful for publishers than the ones charging $20 per month. Haha I'd try making a system like this if I knew where to start and had $5k-10k to spare lol.

hmm the Auction Ads system lagged it originally showed me earning
$0.39 cents for Saturday but later showed Saturdays earnings as
$0.26 cents and Sundays as $0.39 very strange, not that I'm complaining :) :

    05/25: Impressions: 11946 Clicks: 354 Revenue: 0.00
    05/26: Impressions: 17757 Clicks: 387 Revenue: 0.26
    05/27: Impressions: 11915 Clicks: 218 Revenue: 0.39
