OKay, lots and lots of link bid directories out there.
So instead of hunting down each one, etc.

    Here is the deal:
PM me your link bid directory (must have page rank! so show it), and it must have starting bid of $1.00.

I will be buying at least 25 spots on these directories.

But, and there is always a but!
You must first purchase a link on my directory.
This is only after I accept yours and in the pm I will send you will have my directory url.
Upon your payment, I will do the same to yours.

Yes. I think it's better to let us know what directory you want us to submit to. ALso, you should allow people to put their link here since there are many that run bid directory now. You will get tons of PMs otherwise ;)

I buy your link, you buy my link.

That would make paypal even a bigger company. (they get two payments)

    any other thoughts?

    Thanks

    Say.......I bid a $1 in your directory,you get $0.6x (can't remember the exact amount)
and then you bid in my with a $1,I get $0.6x
then paypal will get double $0.3x from us.We'll lose some money.,both of us....

    Am I right?

Besides,I don't see the whole purpose of this thread......

    OKay, list them here.

My thinking is this (regardless of paypal making money or not):
You buy a link for one buck, 5 bucks, etc on my bid directory.
I do the same on your bid directory (one buck for one buck, 5 bucks for 5 bucks, etc...in other words, I match your bid).
Basically we are both getting backlinks, advertising, and the real cost to both of us is just the paypal fees.

Then again, my thoughts continuing on this is that:
So many directory owners want me and you to purchase links, but they never purchase links on mine or your directory.
This way, it is mutual. If not, then I don't buy a link on a directory where the directory owner won't buy a link on mine.

Here is mine, you buy a link there and either email me or pm me and I will reciprocate within 24 hours.

LOL dude why not just ask for exchange instead of making someone bid ?

Just say, if you want to exchange with me, instead of bid on mine i bid on yours.

Exchange of links or credits instead of paypal money, makes everything easier.

    .
    I agree.
And you can save some money.
But I don't think it's good to do this in bid for position directories...

Well, I don't know if it is bad or good.
I just feel like if there is an actual exchange of money, then both parties have something vested besides just a link exchange.

The entire reason I started this is as I stated.....while I have no problem buying links and do not expect the same in return, it is just that so many bid directories are coming on line (working on two more as additions to two of my sites), I see where many of the owners will not spend any money to advertise their bid directories.

Okay, just exchanged links with another person here.

    Will instead, just exchange links.
You go to my directory at: Directory Link Auctions
When you click submit and go to the paypal page, just close it out without paying.
Then PM me the url and the amount you want to bid and I will place it on my directory.
Also in the PM, the url of your directory and I will go and place my order for you to accept at the same bid as I put on yours.
EG: You want a $25 bid, my bid must be the same.

    Is that simple or what?

Exchanging links in directories and reciprocal links are different.

If what you said was true, why you wasted your time exchanging listings (if I'm not wrong) with Tommy?
