How Often are you given RED REP RANDOMLY?

I accidentally gave red rep when i wanted to give green. I mailed him about it and apologized.

 

Do you get banned if you reach a certain - rep?

 

I gave a green once when I wanted to give a red.

 

I think you can only get banned if you get to a certain amount of Infraction level. But I could be totally wrong I know you lose use of your "signature if you" go under a certain negative rep level I have been brushing up on the rules around here.

 

I believe you are correct.

 

The biggest reason for the red rep is probably through some grudge from the Politics and Religion forum.

 

The great thing about this annoying "little" red rep I get. Is I know some good DP members who have hellish post counts/rep points/cool names under their main ones..So I get get +8 +10 Green rep at a time for helping them. Which is not hard and I don't mind helping others.

 

No worries about the negative reps. Just continue to make quality posts and the greens will pour.

 

Yea I don't generally worry about the red rep points as I said sir. And look..I'm a RAIDER NOW. wooo woo O_O EVIL RAIDER POWER! woot I liked beseker but Raider is cool too.

Green rep doesn't count in the general chat areas, but I believe red does...

 

Red Reps, that is. lol...

They both count but the points are diminished. So unless you have high rep points, you will just be giving out greys in GC. But if a member with high rep points gives rep in GC, it will have little effect on the member being repped.

Yeah, that's what I've noticed too. If all the red reps that I got from General Chat were still there, I would only have 2 blobs.

 

How much is one blob of green rep?

I went from -4 to +7..Imagine that..

I usually get grey reps...judging from the comments though, most of them are supposed to be green, but the users are all new here.

From time to time though, I get a random red rep. The last comment said, "I like chicken."
