k, sorry, I panicked there for a sec. Thought there was going to be some serious partnership/merger announced or something

 

Pretty cool stuff.. hopefully this drives up all of the tech sector to match and improve.

 

Yikes, 5 hours battery life, 16 for audio. If a phone dies within 24 hours, it's a crap phone IMO.

 

I've got a feeling he means 5 hours continuous talk
that's better than most phones on the market

But probably means £499 Sterling too.

 

I was actually hoping that the Google partnership would mean a less expensive phone, and the wireless would be ad-supported

You know what's funny about that. At Apple.com earlier (I'm talking like an hour ago), it said Apple's iTV.

But yes, it's apple TV. Heck, call it what you want, I'm getting it.

 

Looks like they really do keep their products secret then! So secret in fact, that their own marketing department doesn't know what it's called.

Anyone else eager to get one of the new iPhones in their hands? My current Verizon contract ends just a couple months after the release of the iPhone - I have to find out if Cingular network is reliable in Vermont. If it is you can bet I will have one of these gorgeous tools at my disposal ASAP.

 

Yea this iPhone looks great. To bad I am stuck with Verizon for a whole year.

I want to play with iPhone. I wonder if standard things in mobile phones like .mp3, .3gp formats would be supported on iPhone.
