I read an article in a newspaper yesterday and it said that googles youtube is closing down due to a dodgy video. The video showed Ronaldo's* girlfriend having sex on a beach. Has anyone else read this or know anything about this?? *Brazilian Soccer Star
Lol, why would they close down over a single video. Do you seriously believe that? If so, I have a bridge to sell you.
I guess that is old news from the Entertainment section of DP So here is the more info that you have asked for http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=212182
It is supposed to be banned in brazil, but it's a pointless ban. That video has already spread to thousands of other upload sites.
Err - Not that I would know this kind of thing, but if you search for her name on google videos you can see it there.. No idea how I came upon that information!
loll.. miss the video. send me the clip, so i can leave a comment after watch. haha youtube got an adult login confirmation section. dont belief its propagating the video, and without anyone complaining to youtube. until the closed down. think not
THOSE PEOPLE THAT ARE UPLOADING SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELFS, HOW CAN ANYONE UPLOAD THAT ON A SITE WHERE CHILDREN GO! *goes off to look for the video*

Little off-topic but how ugly are youtube videos with that unaesthetic gray low definition button in the middle.
Over the past 2 months, YouTube has gone from fantastic to rather frustrating (and sometimes downright horrible). What's going on? Here's the problems I've seen recently popup: View counts are almost never accurate on the search screen. Click a video and the count is completely different (sometimes by a factor of 100) Ratings show up as 2 1/2 stars on most videos on the search screen, but different when you click the video. Makes searching for highly rated videos difficult You can no longer view top rated/viewed/commented/etc by any range other than Today. Why not? Or is this hidden somewhere not obvious. 1/2 to 2/3 of the top videos are now soft porn, or dumb videos titled as soft porn. I'm not sure what type of filtering was happening before, but it apparently is not happening anymore. Links from other sites don't seem to be working. I always liked to see who was linking to a video, and browse their sites as well. This has since been hidden in the 'other stats', and doesn't seem to reflect even a small fraction of the top links in. I'm wondering if Google is doing this purposefully ... the changes seem too obviously negative to not have some ulterior motive. Anybody have thoughts? Anita (note, I sent the above message to a bunch of people at YouTube as well, if I get any responses I'll post here)
