$34 for a broadband internet related word.

But this was in mid-2005, and nothing like this ever happened again.

A $34 click is a unicorn or a five leaf clover.

My highest click from my directory is $1.09.. Highest eCPM is $47.30

    But the interesting this is..

I got two clicks around a month ago from DP.. It seems both clicks from the same thread.. Not sure.. it got $0.15 per click.. the eCPM for that ad is $156.40

So we getting just $0.nn for every click.. but DP getting $156 for just impressions..:D lol

$1.8 recently, for some tech related keywords. Never expected a >$10 click.

Don't be so fixtated on the pay-per-click.

    Overall volume is more important.

Yes, Real estate and law related keywords pay a lot per click, but good luck getting bidders for those keywords. You'll be competing with top notch sites that get most of the volume.

Don't go where the high pay-per-click is. Stick to the long-tail, developing a niche where you could become the leading site, as long as there are enough buyers in that niche.

Also, definitely look into AzoogleAds, CPAEmpire, affiliate offers and other CPA networks where you could end up getting a lot more for your traffic.

I received $16.18 from one click two years ago. I haven't approached that number since, but I do receive a $2 click every now and then.

Judging after the websites in your signature, high payed clicks make sense but I also assume there's a lot of work to do in order to be competitive in those niches.

Keep up the good work and good luck! ;)
