Targeleon Review (My experience while using Targeleon)

I don't think there is a formula for writing a great article. My most successful ones I didn't even plan. I just "knew" when they were done. And people liked them.

 

Peoples who know the topic very well and have very good skills in writing usually could create great content in short time without planning it first. As the number 2 poster of all times on Digitalpoint, I believe writing is not an issue for you.

Just an update for everyone who read this thread, I would like to share some info. I would write it ordered list:

1. In January, Targeleon Officially announced Review Contest and invite anyone to participate. The link is available HERE.
2. In the beginning of March (March 02), an official post was created to let everyone know the winner of that contest. The link is available HERE.
3. I was quite surprised to find out I have won the contest. My publisher ID is 241258 and that mean I am one of ten people to get the prize.
4. In March 03, I have received the price.

I have written quite a few sentences about it in my notebook but the article is not yet finished. I am planning to add few more information related on how to work with Targeleon and how to serve their ads by using all possible methods (mainly using adserver). I would also explain and describe few things which maybe useful for any publisher/affiliate marketer.

If everything goes the way it has been planned, the information would be available in new dedicated thread before last day of this month. My writing skill is not that good and that is the reason it takes many days to finish it. Plus, March is busiest month for teacher as we have to prepare test and exam for student.

Could you please tell me the average CPM rate for Banner ad?(Tier 1)

 

Sorry for late reply, currently we don't have a really good demand for banner ads, and the eCPMs are relatively low.

Our current strong demand and great coverage is for mobile pops and redirect traffic. If you have such traffic, please join us to test.

 

I see you already received an answer from Official representative. However, I would like to add more info based on my experience.

The average eCPM could be seen in my earlier images posted in this thread. Each publisher may receive different result due to their traffic and some optimizations. To find out what eCPM you may get, you could register and test it by yourself. If you get low eCPM, you could read earlier post on how to optimize both of your site and Ads Serving. If you get better eCPM, you still have a choice to optimize it even further or leave it as is.

As I previously wrote, I would write and create special thread about Targeleon (and cover small portions about CPA Advertising as well) and would make it available for public before last day of March. Unfortunately the plan didn't go as planned. I have created more than half portion of it but still couldn't finish it on time. Student's Final Test, Graduation and Enrollment may took most of my times but I confident it would finish right away as soon as I have enough time to complete it (I am planning to finish it as soon as possible).

i have a question . i m using smart banner ads
1:must i apply for offers ? or it ll show auto on my website ?
2: smart banners means it ll show offer for country right
example USa offers for us visitors Au offers for au visitors

 

Based on my experience:

1. You dont have to apply any offer if you were using SmartBanner ads code. Lots of ads from various types/categories would available automatically.
2. SmartBanners would show specific ads based on many factors including visitors location (geo/country) automatically.

There are lots of good reasons why I recommend SmartBanner (for most affiliate marketer) ratherthan promoting specific offers (only good for advanced affiliate marketer).

I have compiled various questions (including your questions) and answers but still couldn't finish and upload it in this board. Once it finished, I think it may able to help other affiliate marketer to setup and promote offers effectively. I couldn't write much explanations because I am on mobile at the moment.

 

smart banner and smart url is not working

I am not Targeleon's staff and thus my opinion could be wrong but I believe the 'SmartBanner' has worked as expected.

If you use SmartBanner, there would be four or five graphic banners (could be Download / Watch / Install, Email Message, etc) visible to visitors. Each of those banners contains up to hundreds (probably more) of ads/offers. The ads served to visitors varies greatly depend on many parameters. It hards to tell which ads/offers served to each visitor because each visitor may get different experience (ads/offers).

You have done right thing by sending support ticket whenever there is concern about the ads/offers.

As publisher, I prefer solving any problem by myself (as long as I could handle it) As publisher, we have many choices to solve the problems by Outselves. The easiest solution is by using ads server to rotate between SmartBanner and Individual Offers. It will ensure there are lots if different ads for every visitors (same visitors may able to see multiple type of ads/offers - good for conversion).

Another solution is to ask the staff to Compile special SmartBanner campaing for your site. As far as I know, an account manager may able to help publishers set up one or more special campaign (CPI only, etc) based on any niches (website). If we ask nicely, maybe we could get better options.

As I have stated earlier, I am in the process of writing 'Simple Guide' to help everyone familiar with Affiliate Network (mostly focussed on Targeleon). However, I am still lack various references/resources and couldn't manage my time effectively.

One thing I know about affiliate network is: "Never stop learning".
